I was on the fence about ZombiU because of the reviews it's received. However, everyone on Miiverse seemed to love the game. So, I decided to get, and I now deeply regret not making this my first Wii U title! Great game. Flawed yes, but what launch game isn't? ....with the exception of the amazing Twilight princess, which was of course just a port.
I was really looking forward to playing this. As a Stargate fan and after playing it at e3 all those long years ago.
@Deadly fire
No, because the average consumer will never have 80" tvs.
Part of me says yes because I want backwards compatibility, the other part of me says no to make things easier on developers.
I use it every chance I get, though I've still a backlog of PS3 games to get through as well.... Gaming is quite a time consuming hobby!
It would only work with games that previously supported the classic controller. So none of the games you've listed would be compatible. That said, I couldn't imagine playing Skyward Sword with a traditional controller anyway.
Okay so... with what console gamers are expecting these days... I'm thinking more and more, they should just make the switch to PC.
The worst part is, they are expecting things like 4k resolution and 16gb of ram, and expecting to pay only $400 for it. It's absolutely ridiculous!
I don't know why people don't just ignore this one. This one is clearly just out to ruffle some feathers. Anyway, who outrightly hates a company, and completely ignores its' great games, or potential for great games, is not a gamer. They are a "bandwagon player."
It's okay Hatsune Miku. I know you're secretly a Nintendo fanboy. You're secret's safe with me. Opps, I guess the secret's out! Sorry!
Woops.
That's funny, because, I own a Wii U, and it's the best console experience I have ever had.
Uh... PS3 has an install base of what, like 70 million? And Wii U is only up to about 1 million.
I see what'cha did there. :P
Wouldn't be a proper Wii U article without you. Cheers!
やっぱり、超遅いよね。ちゃんとオプティマゼーションしなきゃみ んな文句言うんじゃない?!早く直してよNintendo!

It really is pretty slow. If they don't optimize it properly, people are just gonna' complain more! Hurry up and fix this Nintendo!
Darn good read. Too bad the people who should be reading this probably won't.
Totally, I only have 4gb, and the system uses almost half. The closest to 2 I'e ever gotten was when one of my friends was playing Command and Conquer 3, and he just wanted to see how many units he could make if he spent half an hour doing just that. Needless to say I was shocked by how many units were on the screen, and it marks the first time my PC has ever "chugged" as it were.
It's funny you say that they never play "the hardware game," when the only time Nintendo didn't play, "the hardware game" was last generation.
Go PS2! Keep on truckin'!
Did you really try it? Because the analog sticks are clickable.
