I'm 28 and have gamed since I was 4. Going through all of these consoles have been exciting times. It's just too bad to see so many of my fellow gamers become so bitter, jaded, and pessimistic.
Why is it that so many people who believe themselves gamers insist that gaming is for only them and their demographic. Grow up! Gaming is for everyone, and you should be happy that more and more people are getting into gaming as a hobby. It means that our lifestyle is becoming more and more socially acceptable, and that's a good thing. Who cares if Nintendo makes games for everybody? They really do make games for EVERYBODY, and by "everybody" I mean they truly do cover all demo...
Why wait? 350 is more than fair for a new system. Heck, my last video card alone was 270. 350 is a bargain for new console.
Also, that's too bad you couldn't find any more of the great Wii games. I actually bought more Wii games during its' lifetime than I bought for my PS3 and 360 combined. If you look hard enough, there are some pretty amazing titles.
Except Gamecube games... unless you had a special hardware mod. Wii games worked fine though.
I'm really looking forward to Pikmin 3, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Bayonetta 2, Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate and Rayman Legends! I hope at the next E3 they announe Zelda/Metroid~
He's being sarcastic.
Anyway, Nintendo said they still have more game announcements to make so we'll see what they announce over then next month.
I love playstation as well~ The fact is, someone took the time to play Wii U, and that's pretty cool.
This is a pretty funny satire.
Well, semantically speaking it is the other way around. However, generally one could say it either way.
I really hope they stick with the water color style. I absolutely loved it! I remember a number of months back Retro was posting jobs for someone to make hand painted textures. Perhaps it's for a Zelda engine?
I'd love motion plus, but have the gamepad setup for a dungeon map(Like Pikmin 3). I don't know why that was removed from the hud in Skyward Sword, but it really bothered me.
British English has spelling differences compared to American English.
@Sashimi
True, but rather than charge us more for a console with a hard drive that may or not be proprietary, we can easily hook up one of our own. I know that that sounds like a lot. But if you're like me and upgraded both your PS3 and 360 hard drives I think you might be more forgiving. When I upgraded to the 100gb, it cost me nearly $100, and that was at a time when 500gb were usually only about $80. The PS3 hdd can be replaced with any 2.5" drive, but the process...
Pretty sure the 8gb Wii U is marketed more towards casual gamers that won't be downloading games anyway.
The wii remote thing is fine, because of the dependency of some games on motion.... however, I really wish that classis controller/gamecube controller supported games could support the gamepad and the Wii U pro controller.
Good thing I can monitor the update on the gamepad screen while I watch Netflix on my PS3.
It wouldn't be a proper Wii U article without Mika.
You know that it is replacing data, right? It's not just as though it keeps adding up. Also, I assume you are one of the ones who still believes that the last update was actually 5gb.
So.... a PC?
Not trolling. Just being facetious.
I really hope they stick with the water color style. That with a bit more horsepower would be eye-popping.
