Gotta' agree with poprocks here.
That said. It still looks awesome.
Even Sony's devs don't really work together though.
Except it isn't "current generation" hardware by console standards. The Wii U uses a gpu similar to those released in 2011. The next sony and microsoft platforms will be using gpus from 2012. All are considered "next gen" by console standards.
@Perjoss
He'a making a joke because of the tradition of Zelda games being delayed for years.
I just had a geekasm just now. Let me re compose myself.
The author says that he hopes to use the gamepad for Skyward Sword, but Nintendo still supports the Wii remote, so why would they use a traditional method for a game that is dependent on motion controls? I don't even think it would be possible. Unless they made the sword controls like they were in Metal Gear Solid 2 where all of the movements are mapped to the right analog stick.
I have been holding off on replaying these games specifically because I am holding out for an HD collection.
Lufia 2. That is all.
I think the Lufia games probably are. Most people have at least heard of Earthbound.
Wow. Even Microsoft is getting the doom articles now. N4G is really starting to feel like that stereotypical bum on the street always preaching about the end of the world.
Like with D-pads, analog sticks, motion controls, touch interfaces, software design... oh wait.
I love my Wii U.
I held off on both Batman and Assassin's Creed III awaiting the Wii U release. I also picked up New Super Mario Bros. Wii U, Zombi U, downloaded Little Infernos. Loving it so far. Though they need to integrate the virtual console into the eshop like yesterday. lol
That said, I can't wait until Rayman Legends, Monster Hunter Tri, Bayonetta 2, Aliens Colonial Marines, and Pikmin 3 come out. Those are all preordered!
Man it was a little gloomy for a while on the PS3 front. But look at it now! For one thing, multiplat titles are mostly amazing(bethesda and call of duty devs need to shape up), and the exclusives have made the PS3 a must have for anyone. I can't wait until "The Last of Us" and "Beyond Two Souls!"
Very true, though there is nothing wrong with that. It's just sad how Sony fanboys jump on Nintendo for doing that. Though it's even worse when xbox fanboys do the same thing despite the system having a paid online service and only surviving because of multi plat titles that I can run on my PC with higher quality effects and yet still pay less for.
I long for the days when gamers go back to the ways of yore. Namely... sitting down, shutting up, and playing some freak...

You've obviously never given Pikmin some time, Pikmin is amazingly fun and addictive. In my book, Pikmin /is/ worth it.
They've never let us down before with main entries. I'm going to give it a shot regardless. Though... I hope there is an option to change the camera to overhead.
Why not get both? Personally, I couldn't live without either nintendo or sony's offerings. I already have a Wii U and it's truly an amazing console, but there is no way that I'm not going to preorder the ps4.
Sounds too good to be true. I'm not getting my hopes up.
How does anything in this article even hint that it's not coming to Wii U?
I can't believe I got so many disagrees. It's true though. Despite all being under Sony, their developers more or less work independently. They are also given an enormous amount of freedom which is why the games lineup is so diverse.
