Might not know this, but as you can see from the numbers of Wii sports not matching up with the Wii exactly, the Wii was not bundled with Wii Sports in All territories.
I agree completely, my PC can do Battlefield 3 at 1080p, ultra settings, and at 60fps, though with only 2x antaliasing turned on. My build was not that cheap. The CPU/GPUs together alone are about 500 ballpark. I know consoles are cheaper to manufacture, but come on, there is not way they are going to be making consoles that are even in line with mid-high gaming rigs. Cost is waaaaaaaay too segregating for gamers. Such a console could easily cost $800=$1000.

I have no doubt that the next Sony and Microsoft consoles will be more powerful than Nintendo's. However I imagine that people are grosely overestimating how much of a leap that will be. Younger gamers who only know the Nintendo from the Wii believe Nintendo always goes with lo fi tech. However, this gen marks the only gen where Nintendo didn't release a powerhouse. Furthermore this gen marks the first gen where Sony has gone for power. The PS1 and PS2 weren't exactly super cuttin...
That's stupid. I was really looking forward to doing some of the more mundane gathering tasks on the gamepad while watching movies. ...well, at least I'll be getting this for 3DS as well, so I'll be able to use that.
Heck yeah. I can already feel the next gen coming. Wii U, PS4, and my gaming rig. I've had too many issues with Microsoft this gen, and most of the good titles go to PC anyway.... so.... maybe I won't get their next system. Though, if they show me at least one exclusive must have fitting my tastes, I'll go with them again as well.
What a stupid question. If you haven't played it, or you want another reason to play a game again, then it's awesome and you should buy some of these collections. If not, then don't. Simple. I think these collections are great ways for gamers to play some amazing games that they may have missed the first time around. Criticize SONY all you want for selling these collections, but they do right by me.
Actually the controller costs only about 50 to make. They'll be selling it for about $100(Well in Japan, anyway). So I imagine it has to do with the system itself. Afterall, the controller isn't a standalone system, it's just a controller with a screen on it, it basically just needs receiving hardware.
