Playing DeadSpace as I never played the first one. Pretty good. Also got the Doki Doki one to see what it is .

Clearly, Sony care about the reputation of its studios. MS might release dumpster fires and then bankroll a sinking ship, but for Sony they will not allow a studio with a heritage like ND's to release something subpar. This is why Sony makes bangers and MS makes mediocre.

No, gaas is not the problem. There are good gaas games. Helldivers is an example.
I think they simply were not happy with the end product and decided not to dilute a masterpiece of an IP with something lackluster.
Silence from first party maybe, but it’s been a good year of exclusives for PlayStation. I agree though, they must have been cooking. Deciding not to reveal their projects too soon.
There are so many top studios working away on games that I think we are bound to see some major games debuting.

You keep saying generations are done. Not sure what you mean. We are talking about consoles here. It’s not like PC where you buy bits and pieces here and there. MS said something like that at the beginning of the generation and they came out with two separate consoles at same time. But they are paying the cost of that decision, and now you want them to release another console, and then what? We haven’t even got the benefit of the current gen yet.
