Bit sad to see all these guys here trying to somehow catch fish in muddy waters because it’s open season to try and bring down a company that produces top notch gaming. So if you can’t talk against their games, let’s try to smear their name. That’s essentially what’s underneath this whole thread right?
And then these same individuals will expect high quality games to play and want developers to push boundaries for them.
@Christopher
How are you coming up with that conclusion? Are you talking about Sony or the disc pressing company that misappropriated the copyrighted materials?
Would rather Sony protect their top quality exclusive making developers from mediocrity. Also, how many of the 10 million GP subscribers bought it early on when it cost a dollar? And will they pay the actual cost when the real cost kicks in?
Yes. I’m glad they are giving everyone a way to pitch in the conversation at least for a second. I don’t like playing multiplayer games with silent allies. I think it will add a lot to the experience.
@MephiSKA
yes that’s also a valid point.
I don’t think anyone claims this to be a scientific survey. It’s just for fun and entertainment.
As for me: Adaptive triggers and the Mic (can’t choose)
Well the reviews were not bad per se, but they definitely did not give the credit this game deserved overall.
Good to know they went with a custom cooling solution to ensure that the system stays cool
Lots of next gen indies. Its looking good.
Moss is great
Excited for it. I think the Adaptive triggers will be used much more because they are a greater leap over non-inclusion that Haptic feedback in Xbox controller which is basically independent rumble. Regardless, it should be a exciting feature especially if coupled with VR to add to the immersion.
It’s not dumb, just not essential. At least not for me. It’s nice to have though. I hope Sony don’t waste resources just for the sake of more BC bragging rights. I want next gen games.
It’s like Mortal Kombat in 3rd person?
@Darth
XSX doesn’t have Haptic feedback. XSX has standard rumble. DS5 has Haptic.
XSX has “impulse” triggers, which should be something similar to DS5’s “Adaptive” triggers. As to how impulse compares to Adaptive, we don’t know yet.
@genericgamer01
We are confusing a number of issues here:
1) I think we all agree that any outright censorship is bad.
2) violence does in fact have negative impact on young kids.
3) as a matter of public welfare, some things are not better left to the unchecked discretion of people, in this case parents. This is why we all obey traffic laws.
4) while the right to raise your children how you see fit is a fundamental right, not all parents...
Sex should not even be an issue. Violence, on the other hand, should have restricted access. I don’t know anything about this particular game, but sounds like the difference between this and GTA is that GTA is a game about mafia, so violence itself isn’t the lure of the game. It’s telling a story. But a game about murder, is a game centered on murder as the selling point. I Don’t know, I see a difference here.
Hehehe I don’t care what it looks like, it could be in a cardboard box and I’m getting it. 😁
I think this is going to be bigger than most people know. The ease of jumping in will be huge for console gaming. I say that as I know the SOLE reason an iPad is even a thing, is because it allows you to do what you normally do on a PC, much quicker and readily accessible. If consoles can make jumping in instantaneous, it will change the way we game, and to a certain extent, close the convenience gap with Mobil gaming. THAT is big. Bigger than can be explained without experiencing it.
Not the first dev to chime in on this and it’s almost unanimous. I’m more excited for the games and VR and that new controller than which console has a few more pixels or doesn’t. I want the games.
Having said that, this is not a knock on Xbox, I’m pretty sure whichever you choose you will have tons of fun.
It will definitely help with people communicating more in multiplayer and leads to a better sense of community
They actually included a separate cpu for sound, thus taking the burden off of the main cpu. Gotta give it to Sony, they are giving the devs no excuse not to use the tech. They must feel it’s something special if they went through all the trouble.
