Why lied? Do you know what either of them actually has? Sony’s may be leaps and bounds ahead as it’s a recent technology. From what I’ve read, nothing currently exists like it. Maybe Dolby will have something similar to it, sure, but as of right now what Sony has talked about is unique.
Awesome, thank you. Very useful insight. I think i’ll Pick it up.
Is it a workout too?
<: my face is stuck in this shape right now.
I would pay 599.99 no problems. Anything higher, It would hurt, but still getting.
All jokes aside, it does resemble a cheese grater. At least it reminds me of one. Not saying it’s ugly, but it had its best impression on me when it was first revealed, the more time passes, and novelty wears off, the less appealing it looks. But, looks isn’t that high up my priorities anyway.
Yes because MS really showed Sony... oh umm wait.
I’m more excited to see the controller’s capabilities but I can’t deny that the box has me curious. On the other hand they called it a architectural deep dive. Yes? Maybe no box reveal yet.
Oh man, it’s going to be intense. I like the sound of “deep dive”. While you are at it, let us know what’s in store for next gen VR!
So essentially memory cards are back? /:
This or original p5?
@King
I believe he means that’s how he decides which console to get. Makes sense to me.
It’s very possible. Maybe even prudent to delay them.
The memories.... that sound when you start it, gives me goosebumps.
My problem with MS (if any) is that they seem too disconnected from the reality of gamers. They seem almost too big to care. They do what they want and force feed their audience how to think and what to say in the face of legit concerns about how MS behave in the gaming habitat. For instance, this new concept of no new games for a “new” gen console. Can anyone tell me why it’s all of a sudden a good thing that they essentially are branding a mid-gen upgrade as a new gen console? Or lack of VR...
Double negative. My brain is going in circles.
Well it is the PlayStation brand we are talking about here. As far as interest goes, I’m fully invested.
PSVR2 would be a dream. It’s one of biggest reasons I’m excited for new generation. But don’t think 2020 is when it drops. They will space it out from PS5 launch.
I haven’t played it yet, I was saying I think I’ll get it now at that price.

It looks to me that you are just jumping through hoops to prove your chosen console is more powerful (and on paper it is) but according to developers (and no they aren’t PS devs) the SSD in PS5 will be “forever changing game development”. That’s a pretty extreme statement if true, and it might mean that the PS5 may actually be the superior console when it comes to what these consoles can actually do with the power they have.
