How come I never heard of this. This looks wicked good!
@porkchop
By “big show” you mean 3rd party conferences like E3, Gamescon, etc.
And yes they all abandoned them for the most part. MS was doing their own as well. Also, whether MS was present at “big shows”, they didn’t really make a splash or a big showing for the longest. All platforms sort of abandoned these expensive venues and went in-house for their conferences. Now, MS has decided to change that it seems.
at this rate even Hercule Poirot can't solve the mystery of who killed xbox.
... as the compassionate robot proceeds to throw his can of Mountain Dew into his Xbin.
bourgeoisie? haha are we in victorian times? I am surprised to see someone use that word, and with correct spelling to booth! Bravo!
yes, unfortunately MS has proved to be the catalyst of negative movements within the console gaming. Their conduct has reverberations in the industry. When MS cuts costs, others will do the same because, you know, profits and greed.
no not dead for sure. But xbox is losing relevance with every passing day. I don't think the name xbox will die, but the console called xbox is dead in the water. From MS's perspective, they have no loyalty to console gaming so it is fine as long as they can give you a service called xbox and make more money. That is the bottom line for MS it seems, and unfortunately, that is their plan for a long time now.
well, I mean it was bound to once people realized that the "must-have" games from that conference were multi platforms.
@Zeref
wow what a SPIN!
I rather they do their own show, instead of wasting a bunch of money to pay the forum holder and have a conference as big as the next guy, but so long they do their own big conference with big announcements which I think everyone is waiting on.
Not sure what this article is about because they just released a bunch of games for it…
There is just more negative about Xbox out there. Christopher can’t conjure up pro-Xbox when it’s not already in existence…
I have enjoyed some amazing AA gaming this gen, and the Portal has been a surprising catylist for me getting into these.
pretty big deal, no? You say France, like France is some small market...
Wasn't there a time when even a small margin was a HUGE deal. Now, EIGHT to ONE, and you think, meh?
resorting to fake games to keep moral up.
haha :P
The bar keeps sinking for Xbox it seems. This would have been unacceptable in prior generations.
You mean people prefer a one of a kind platformer over yet another fast paced fps? Oh humanity! What will become of the children?
It’s like Xbox fans have amnesia, as soon as they get a conference they forget everything that came before it. And then they assume that nothing will happen in the future that might change things (like a PlayStation conference). It’s like a vacuum.

Correction, you pay for a service plus pay for a game.
Also, I probably pay less than you to play the same amount of gaming because I pay for games I want to play only, without being subscribed to a service. 🤟
I think we all have an inside scoop at this point. MS has lied so often that we all know what to expect from them.
