I have to admit I kinda have a soft spot for some fanboys, Some of their hair brained, half baked comments make me laugh.
I've owned consoles from PS, MS, the big N, Sega, Atari, C64, etc, and I loved everyone of them.
Everyone has their preferences, but bashing one console just because you own another doesn't make sense.

Just the other day i heard that someone got beaten to death with a copy of Black Ops 2, and somewhere in NY a guy held up a liquor store with a mad catz steering wheel.

One thing I would add is constant bombardment of annual releases. Seeing the comments regarding the announcement of CoD 2013, more people are annoyed than excited. I'd hate to see that happen to Uncharted, Halo, etc.
I don't see valve having that problem though, for obvious reasons. I heard Gabe Newell was attacked by a swarm of 3's as a child, which would explain his irrational fear of trilogies.
