Look at the date, this article is seven months old.
Nintendo are relying on the Wii-U pad far too much.
They need games first and foremost, and not rely on what the gamepad can do with the few titles it currently has.
IMO sixty bucks is fair, if the game is good then I will gladly pay. I get the enjoyment, and the devs can afford to put food on their plates and a roof over their heads.
However, specialized game retailers like EB are half the reason why game prices are so high. Standard retailers are much cheaper, but they don't have the same range of games, or pre-owned/pre-order incentives. And that gives game retailers free reign to charge whatever price they want.
“it’s even possible that we could buy out Samsung and Apple in the future.” That statement has to be false, or misinterpreted.
Not to mention there are no sources for this remark. Yet another fine example of online journalism.
I can't imagine boss fights without good music to accompany it, it ups the ante and makes the battle more intense for some reason. It wouldn't be the same killing a dragon in Skyrim without that epic soundtrack.
I can't say the same for some games though, Every boss battle in Blue Dragon had the same horrendous J-rock track, I rather have a silent battle than have to endure that again.
There is already so much that could go wrong with this movie.
'A high octane roller coaster ride starring Jake Gyllenhaal as Adam Jensen, Stella Hudgens as Malik, and Cleverly directed by Michael Bay' ewwwww.
I'd prefer a game. I've been hurt by game movies before, I'm still trying to get over street fighter.
Dafoe, Bacon, only good actors need apply. We don't want every half assed actor trying to cash in on the gaming inustry.
'Tim Allens Kinect Christmas' I shudder at the thought.
The Last of Us, what a fitting title for a game that will see out the current gen.
And it should be great.
As for Infinite I wasn't sure that 2K could match the original Bioshock, but from what I've seen it certainly could.
These two titles will make sure this gen goes out with a bang.
Ah, the beauty of hindsight.
Way to go EA, NOW you start talking about what you could've and should've done. It's too freaking late for that.
The real shame is that what could've been a great game has been blighted forever by the poor decisions made by EA, and the game didn't deserve that.
I'm not too concerned about cheats, but I will enjoy looking for the Easter eggs.
Try living in Australia. You might get things later, but at least you won't pay though the nose to get them.
The Wii-U got off to a slow start, there's no denying that.
But only time will tell if it succeeds or not, E3 will be the biggest test.
PS fanboys are so keen to hate kinect, but now that Sony has produced something similar, suddenly they come out defending the idea of motion control, or accuse MS of plagiarism.
Make up your mind, guys.
This is disgraceful, what a kick in the nads to the people who worked tirelessly on this title.
Personally I don't think the perpetrators even deserve to be called pirates, 'thieves' is a more fitting title.
The pirates I'm familiar with sport wooden legs, eye patches and battle scars. The closest these game pirates get to real battle is through PvP.
I say keel haul these land lubbers.
If this is true, then E3 is going to be epic.
I wonder if E3 2013 was marked in the Mayan calendar?
You're spot on.
Michio Kaku stated that Moore's law will collapse eventually, and modern processors will hit a brick wall in terms of power and processing speed.
And if PC's do, so will consoles, because they both rely on the the same technology and components.
Graphically, consoles (and PC's) will hit it's heights too. Eventually game graphics will get to the point where we can't tell the difference between the scree...
It must be tough to be a bias fanboy, finding something new to bitch about all the time.
What amazes me is how some people are whining about the PS4 announcement to start with! If you're that anal and pedantic about it, then I feel sorry for you. The rest of us are excited.
Sadly these haters will once again climb out from under their bridges once the Nextbox is revealed, The type of people who's intellect uses 'kinect' as their sole argument ...
Nintendo should worry about what Nintendo are doing.
However it's not looking pretty for the big N at E3, with more PS4 to look forward to, and a probable Nextbox announcement, their conference will take the backseat.
My concern is that the Wii-U will end up like the Dreamcast, but hopefully there's some quality titles coming that will stop that from happening.
It didn't take long for EB games to cash in, they're already offering pre-orders for PS4 @ $899 AUS.
That's damn expensive, but it's still early days, and the prices will change.
"What if EA Indoctrinated All Their Fans?"
EA has fans???
