Everything looks way better than Killzone 2. Especially those flaaaames, and the scale. Those face textures are great. In fact, textures in general are WAY sharper than before. Nice particle effects too.
But... the voice acting D: what happened to you Rico and Sev? D: The script is actually great this time around, but those voices ruin it... Narville sounds a bit better (hated his voice before). But Rico and Sev just sound corny. Even Narville sounds a bit corny now that I th...
Some of those are standard buildings. You can't change the windows on standard buildings, and they don't have interiors. Here's a premium building.

There are no exclusive PS3 wheels anyways, so I don't know what he's buying. Even the Logitech Driving Force GT is a PC/PS3 wheel.
The exterior shadows on the car are what ruins it though. I don't know why they couldn't just remove a shadow property or something on the car exterior, since the car self-shadow never works correctly and just flashes. I can live with the shadow cast on the ground, but the ones under the rear-view mirrors and the grill just flash no matter what.
The interior shadows are fine for the most part, when they're working right it produces a very nice soft shadow. I notic...
It's Force Feedback, it's supposed to do that. While you're getting used to the wheel, since it has quite a learning curve at first, you can turn it down to 1 in the settings, and slowly work your way up. The default is 5, but I feel 6 works best.
And trust me, you want to get used to it. Eventually, you'll be able to use it to your advantage, since you can feel when you're losing traction, when a turn may be too much, or when you're oversteering.
IMO the only mediocre parts were the combat, and if you've read the reviews, that's probably the biggest complaint too. Everything else is amazing.
Everyone should read the article, if this really is true, the story is like Heavy Rain on crack. I'd definitely buy it.
"Without further delay, I’ve been told that Hideo Kojima’s current “taboo” game in the works is based off a doctor in New York City that regularly performs circumcision to boys as part of his doctoral duties, but when his wife gives birth and he performs his own son’s circumcision and it goes wrong (killing his newborn baby), he becomes a mass murde...
ZoE ZoE ZoE! Really, it's been waaay too long.
The licenses are easy to gold now too, and not even necessary anymore. How could he find them irritating?
Funny, I feel the same way with GT5.
Framerate is pretty much 60 unless in SSR7 night and rain, where it feels like 45 or 50 in the cockpit, but it's not really noticeable. Replays on that track with all the cars on the screen is about 25.
Screen tearing is there, but barely. Like, I'd have to be looking for it to see. Even then, I only really see it, if any, two or three times in an entire lap, and only on the older tracks such as Trial Mountain and Deep Forest, since they seem unoptimized.
Look at his comment history, can't hide that from us.
I was looking to be a bit disappointed today... recent questionable pictures, design choices, a few crappy looking videos, ect.
Then the install completed, and I quickly started an Arcade race at SSR 5 night.
I don't even know where to start, but... this game is amazing. Everything. The menu music, the amount of options, little details, the insane amount of content, the graphics (except shadows though... and a few of the older GT tracks which seem like po...
I bet the guy who wrote this doesn't even play PC games. Terrible article.
Steam is amazing. We don't even need retailers for PC games, Steam has everything, at a lower price, and at the comfort of our homes.
The only things I can complain about are the shadows, and some of the older tracks (Trial Mountain... what have they done to you?). Basically everything else feels perfect. The graphics aren't as jaggy as the direct-feed screens would make you think. Night looks stunning. Physics are insanely improved since Prologue.
And it's HUGE. I played for 5 hours today, mostly in Arcade mode, but I feel like I haven't even touched the surface. Time flies by insanely fast, wh...
I don't even get why people complain about the menus. They're fine. In fact, with the insane amount of content, it's alot better organized than the other GTs. Options are in plain sight. Arcade mode is a button away. GT Life's menu layout has every single necessary area on the main page. Really, I could figure out where everything was in a matter of seconds.
I tried the bumper cars thing earlier. At lower speeds, it does have that effect somewhat, but at 80mph+, try to ride a rail or use a car as bumper and you'll enter a spin or have a few seconds of air time. I'd say they fixed the issue pretty well.
Says the dude with Forza as an avatar...
Mmm, actually I do remember Killzone 2s early footage doing the same. Thanks.
