I don’t have a problem with IGN. I like their “first” series that shows playthroughs with developer commentary. That’s the kind of game media I like to watch. I’m stoked about the GDC discussions even though I don’t make games. The insight is interesting and IGN has the job of reporting this stuff.

Are you really “fighting” something by trending on twitter for a day? Even if the arguments were sound and reasonable would a hashtag change anything? The answer is no. I don’t know when twitter became scale in which you grade discourse or being the source for news articles (not just gaming) but the drop in quality is apparent since it’s inception. Why bring yourself down to that level? To tell them they are wrong? Of course they are wrong lol. Who cares?
