I'm not trying to be a wise ass but perhaps the constrast and backlight levels on your TV are set too high. I calibrate TVs as a hobby and I find that the majority of people have their saturation, backlight and contrast values set incorrectly. The luminescence of a TV should never adversely effect your vision. Try decreasing these settings to reduce eye strain and extend the life of your TV.

Sure. I'll just post one title to make it easy for you to check. "Better Off Ted" season 2 episode 2 goes out of sync by almost a full second after watching it for about 10 minutes. It starts off OK but it loses sync as time progresses.

I understand that only select films are broadcast in 5.1 surround but it's odd that none of the films that I tested fell into that category. I thought perhaps there was something wrong with my home theatre system. Do you know any films in particular that are in DD 5.1? Thanks for the response.

I noticed that some of the Netflix films that play through my PS3 lose audio sync. I played the same films through Netflix on my 360 and they played without error.
I also tried going through about 30 HD titles from my queue and I could not find one that is being delivered with 5.1 surround sound. I was under the impression that Netflix on the PS3 was suppossed to be in 5.1 surround.
Has anyone else noticed these issues?

This officer handled this with as much patience as possible. The kid was combative and uncooperative so the cop was forced to respond with the required amount of physical restraint. You certainly have the right to question a company when they raise their prices. But do you actually become this "outraged" when your gas, electric or internet provider increases their fees? Do you question their motives or do you just chalk it up to a cost of living expense? MS hasn't raised the price of XBOX Live in 8 YEARS. That is unheard of in the business world.
I'm not sure where YOU live but the average cell phone (with internet) service charges are about $85 per month in the U.S. So good for you on the "unbelievable" savings.

Why are you people freaking out over $10? A cup of coffee every day over the course of 6 years costs $3,285. The average person spends $70-100 per MONTH for a phone with internet access. The XBOX Live price increase is infinitesimal compared to many of these other luxeries.

XBOX Live is adding new features all of the time (ESPN, Hulu, etc.). Perhaps you didn't request all of those specific features but they come standard with the service. If I buy a 2011 Infiniti then I am getting a different set of standard features that may not be equipped on the 2010 model.
