I thought that I was the only one who was disappointed with MW2. I'm a bit late to the party on this one as I just recently purchased the game. I'm about 1/3 through the single player campaign and I'm just not feeling it. I'm not sure that the missions are compelling enough for me to finish the game.

I'm not trying to start a console war but every company has its share off "deep-discount" promotions. Sony is currently giving away a PS3 if you buy certain Sony branded TVs. They also are in the midst of multiple promotions in which a retailer (Amazon, Best But, Target, Wal-Mart) will give you a $100 gift certificate if you buy a PS3. THAT is a great promotion (I picked up 2 as gifts) but it does seem a bit "desperate" as you put it. Don't you think?

I've shown my Samsung Focus Windows 7 phone to a lot of people (iPhone & Android users) and ALL of them have been very impressed with the device. Many have even admitted to having a bit of tech envy and are seriously considering switching to the Windows 7 platform. Sorry to burst your bubble but Microsoft is in the for the long haul.
Definitely one of the best bargain games available! Pick this title up and you won't be disappointed.
It really sucks (for me) to see all these great offers after having paid $230 (phone + upgrade fee/tax) for a Windows 7 phone a little more than a montha ago. The sales associate even tried to get me to pay the full $400 price because he said that I "wasn't eligible for an upgrade".
Windows Phone 7 is terrific and I don't regret the purchase but it stings a bit to find out that the early adopters are getting left out of these deals.
This is a poor comparison. The video of the XBOX 360 version appears soft due to the fact that the footage is interlaced (pause the video and you will see the frames are over-lapping). The footage of the PS3 version has been captured in a progressive format and has also been adjusted properly (brighter, sharper and better contrast). If they are going to compare the game on two competing systems they should do it on equal ground.

I bought 10 games (7 for XBOX 360 & 3 for PS3) from Gamefly during a recent promotion. I have another 8 titles in my collection that I have yet to play. It will take me about 2 years to finish these games. I'll probably pick up a few more games in that time so I'm well stocked for the foreseeable future. I'm in no rush to move beyond this generation.*
*Ironically, I picked up a XBOX 360 on the day of it's initial release.

I guess that you don't watch TV...or read magazines...or listen to the radio...or browse the web. Windows 7 phones have saturated the media marketplace since their release. They're also receiving great reviews accross the board.

I picked up the Samsung Focus Windows phone last week. Everyone that I've shown it too was envious (including iphone owners). It's a great platform and will only get better in revisions.
For the record I think that the iphone and Android phones are great.
I'm about 2/3 through this title and I think it's one of the most engaging experiences that I've had in gaming. I really enjoy "story driven" games and this one just oozes atmosphere and dread.
