and over say 3 years with 3 years online costs plus lets say 30 games, at the end of the day not only will you have had the better experience but it will have been cheaper - even if you spend a grand on a rig

My cpu (4790k) has been used with 3 different gpus and its about to get its fourth. From 750ti to 290 to 970 to vega64

I expect it to have lasted at least 7 years in total before t gets upgraded.

But console lads think you have to upgrade everything at the same time...

Horison isn't even in the top 10 as far as ps4 game sales go.

The jump in power from xbone to x1x is huge when compared to ps4 to pro. This is why x1x will outsell the pro in a big way.

Also the ribbing that xbone users have taken from ps4 users over the last few years will spurn fanboys to invest so that they can have the last laugh now the tables are turned.

Expect the rhetoric in here to be completely different by early next year

Agree totally, was hoping for a bit more. TBH temp and wattage don't bother me having ran a 290 for a while, but was looking for something to give nv a run. Volta cant be far too away now, I'm guessing spring next year maybe, dunno. really am in a dilemma what to do, wanted to upgrade but don't fancy 1080ti prices, and that is the perf level I wanted as you cant really call a 1080 a 4k card...
