Drive club might look better in your opinion, but could that be mainly down to the fact its a 30fps title so has half of the work that Forza and most other racing games have to perform?
Give me a smoother and more reactive game, especially racing or fps games anytime over something that looks pretty but is a sluggish mess
But its an exclusive, you must obey.
"The fanboys were laughing at the Xbox one doing 900p vs 1080p PS4 games and people swore they could see the difference of of 320 x 180 pixels, yet doubling the resolution, improving texture quality and frame rates is an imperceivable difference. Lmfao. You obviously don’t have a 4k tv or experience with higher fidelity gear."
Totally agree. I do laugh at the hypocrisy. I believe we are looking at fan boy karma...
Don't worry though, in a ...
When I say two different leagues, I meant that the ps4/xb1 are in a different league to the Switch, making the comparison unfair.
When I used the analogy of PC to PS4, I meant a full blown maxed out gaming rig, costing a couple of thousand $, with at least two of the best gpus available, rather than PC in general. Again, making any comparison to a home console unfair
Apologies, I didn't really get the point I was trying to make across very well
yes but they're in two different leagues, seems unfair to compare them and them criticize the lesser spec'd portable for the game not being as good as the ps4 version.
why even compare a home console game to a portable? its like comparing pc to ps4
@kickspin
aye, that's the one
seriously though its how it plays not how it looks especially on such a small screen. And cmon, squeezing that out of switchs hardware is no mean feat
maybe x1x and pc gamers think the same looking at the ps4 version?
If the game plays well on the switch then that's all that counts
I thought graphics don't matter anymore?
Or is the excuse to get some hate in too irriestable
Steam had a Vanquish/Bayonetta pack for £20 - I had some of that
Recently completed it on PC, its a cracking game totally non stop. Hope you get the same 4k/60 loveliness pc did, cant see why not
Pretty amazing
In other news, check out the W3 HD Reworked Mod for PC
I don't think pc gamers care about how many gpus have sold in comparison to how consoles fans crow about their console 'winning the war'
Fact of the matter is, for less than the cost of an x1x, you can buy a gpu that will wipe the floor with it. See my previous post for ROI. After you take into account the higher cost of games on console plus subscription costs, ROI is way better on PC even if the initial outlay is higher.
Its been proven ti...
that made me laugh too. deals? compared to steam prices?? haha
Well heres my take. Back when the xbone and ps4 launched, I had a decision being a ps3 gamer. Get a new console, or spend £99 on a 750ti gpu that I slotted into a rubbish small form factor Compaq pc. PC won and I didn't regret it one bit.
Today, well theres no £99 gpu that can give Pro beating performance never mind x1x performance. And that's how things should be. When consoles release they should be at least as powerful as a mid to high range pc gpu...
Really? No HDCP 2.2? Suppose with no 4k blu ray is not a real requirement. Bit like the Atmos audio the x1x can also do I guess
And what a game on pc!! 4k 60fps beautiful! I reckon it if they do make a third it will definitely come to PC
Now about Vanquish 2....
As a pc gamer, I'm wondering what the difference in price will be between forza and pc2, if horizon 3 is anything to go by it could be the decision maker...
@Digitalraptor
I don't like the term Photorealistic. Its been banded about for 30 years of gaming. Look I really agree that DC looks great. But when people say it makes F7 look cartoonish, well they sound silly.
Would in your opinion DC make GT7 look cartoonish? I don't see GT7 looking any better than Forza.
Also remember that besides running half the frame rate, DC's physics engine is nowhere near the levels of forza/g...
