I'm sorry but that looked like utter... awesomeness! Oh how I've missed SSX, and this looks brilliant.
Me and the only 2 other people I personally know who are getting one on day 1 are all getting the 3G one. If you can afford it, why the hell not? There is loads of nice little social apps and other in game features that use the 3G.
People just think 'oh you can't use it for online gaming' and thats the end of it. I personally think it will have many a use. I can particularly see the GPS ,which only the 3G version has, getting used in games.

RAGE says hi. Ok it doesn't have as much action and it has pretty bad texture pop in but they could scale it back a little, keep the 60fps and still be far prettier than the tweaked id tech 3 engine that COD uses.

Thats completely wrong I'm afraid. In most cases it'll make your performance worse! Because it adds so much eye candy.
It vastly improves visual qaulity.
Example, watch from about 1:30 and you'll see some astounding differences over dx9.

Totally agree, this has been brought about by greed from retailers not devs (not that they are totally innocent mind).
GAME in particular selling used copies of new games, on the same shelf right next to the new copies. Now fair enough to any gamers looking to save a few pence but shame on GAME, that really shouldn't be allowed.
Used games should at least have to be kept well away from new copies.

Who cares if a games main character is straight or gay!? How do they know there isn't more gay characters in gaming? How does anyone know that Sev from KZ isn't gay? How do they know Gordon Freeman isn't gay? I could go on but you get the point.
We don't need to know their sexuality because it brings nothing to the game!
Sony announced the PS3 in 2005 but it didn't come out till 2007. So even if they do announce it this year I won't expect to be playing one til 2014.
I personally don't expect it, I think they'll give the Vita at least a year of breathing space.

Got to say, I don't really like 'Fem Shep'. I don't have a problem with Female Commander Sheppards but the one they are using doesn't look like a battle hardened space marine, she looks like an emo teenager!
Male Shep looks in his mid to late thirties Fem Shep looks no older than 20. It just aint right.

Long answer, no because the people who are content with app store games are people who would never have bought a Vita/3DS in the first place.
It's just different generations. I have a 9 month old son and I'm sure in a couple of years it'll be me saying 'why won't my son game with me?'
Saying that though my dad is a major EVE addict, he's been playing that since the beginning! I also have lots of friends my own age (30) who don't game at all. So I guess it's just who you are.

And what does that mean? Sure the PlayStation side of the business may be doing well, but if the TV side of the company goes I can assure you it'll take the PlayStation side with it.
I don't actually imagine for one minute that Sony will go bust, and I believe there will be a PS4. I just wouldn't hold your breathe for it to be arriving any time soon.
