I dunno man, Outlast is one of the best crafted games I have ever played. They perfected atmospheric music. Being able to actually see the protagonists body and hands on door frames only increased my immersion.
What Outlast does, it does very well. I doubt you will make it very far without at least one audible scream escaping.

I must be a little too old fashioned. I just wait until the game is out and wait for a general consensus from gamers. Its cheap and easy if you can afford a little patience.

This article while lengthy, was a great read. I can totally understand the author's frustration with the cell-shaded graphics alienating the older Zelda audience. Now they should keep moving forward and give Link a more realistic/adult appearance. The author brings a very good point about growing up with the audience while maintaining the core Zelda dynamics.
Nintendo Direct was pretty much the nail in the coffin for Nintendo Mag. By the time the story is researched, drafted, and printed, its already weeks behind.

I dunno guy. Personally I put portables in one group and fixed consoles in another. Wii U is portable by proxy, but for about 15 feet. Its almost saying Wii U cant be compared to the other consoles, so lets put it up against a portable. The Portability is the biggest feature to these consoles. Ie) Cell Phone Games - most are terrible, but they are always available, thus, they are popular by that fact alone.
The Vita is actually portable while the Wii U is not. I dont even understand why these 2 are being compared. The Vita vs 3DS I can understand. This is not apples to apples.
If you dont win an Nvidia Shield, go buy one. Ive had one for a little while now and it is an incredible piece of kit.

Definitely a combination of the two. Steam constantly adds more and more with family sharing, game stream, etc and just stealth-ninja releases them. No big announcements or spewing hype for weeks on end.
