Was Skyrim really that influential? Yeah, people bought it, it had plenty of mods, they re-released the game a ton of times. But i don't believe it did anything for the RPG genre, aside from trying to simplify it as much as possible. So why Elder Scrolls 6 should be THE one? That one teaser inspired you (that doesn't show anything aside from logo)?
What about GTA V? It was an improvement over GTA IV, yes. But the only thing they influenced the industry with were micro- and ma...
Games should be interesting to play, not grindy, repetative and dull. I'll take Witcher 3 over Assassin's Creed Origins any day. I spent same amount of time in both of them and i can't stand Assassin's Creed Origins anymore, but i started a new playthrough of Witcher 3.
Another example, i'll take Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes over Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands; Wildlands is longer but less interesting to play, while MGSV: GZ is much shorter,...
Cyberpunk 2077 is not exclusive to Stadia, so why should people care about this service? And pay full price for games that:
1. are available on other platforms, with better pricing and/or no DRM, extra goodies, ownership and stuff;
2. might vanish after a year (or when Google will decide to shut it down).
P. S.: And first year wasn't bumpy, it was just disastrous, let's not lie here. There wasn't anything good from Stadia, at all.
Hitman with spy gadgets, sounds just too good. Hope to hear more details soon.
On a side note, i wonder why there's only one Mission: Impossible game, it should be perfect material for great video game - stealth, shooting, spy stuff and gadgets, car chases, crazy action pieces and different levels.
«We're not driven by how many consoles we sell»
Isn't it's the main source of the problems for Xbox? You absolutely should be, you're a business. If you do not care about selling Xboxes, why spend millions or even billions on marketing, R&D, production, buying studios, developing games, infrastructure and so on? People hear this dumb stuff from Phil and think «well, they don't care, probably got nothing to offer, i'll better buy the new Play...
Good. Viking are known to be well mannered and politically correct. They never used ableist language when they were pillaging, murdering, raping and kidnapping people. Right?
I guess you haven't tried the web version yet, right? Right.
It's worse than the previous version, for the following reasons:
- Search autocomplete is broken
- PS Plus - button to acquire the games (which redirects you to "This month on PS Plus" page) is not clickable, because that huge "Cold War" banner overlaps it
- PS Plus - button to add games to your library redirects you to the main page, without actually adding t...
First, they removed Chris Avellone and his every contribution. Then, they shown that bad gameplay trailer (and it was pretty bad, let's be fair). Next, Mitsoda and Cluney were removed, for no reason. And they were there from the beginning, pitching the game to Paradox and Mitsoda was in charge of the narrative since the beginning. Now they removed Cara Ellison. Just... what a trainwreck, so much bad PR is so little time, before the game release.
But no one knows that yet, you can't be 100% sure it's just downloading some files, it can easily be both activation and download rest of the files.
We wouldn't know that until someone tries to use the same disc on multiple consoles. And whatever that will work on offline profile or not. Unless Xbox doesn't allow you to create offline profiles, for some weird reason.
«Does the Xbox even matter, if every Xbox game is on Steam and Windows Store?»
What kind of dumb question is this? Do you sell games digitally of physically? Yes? Then it matters!
If Xbox games cost $60, then it's a plus, at least for third-party.
But i guess that's what his is saying, that Xbox SeX games will cost $70 too, just in different words.
Why do you need someones validation or approval on how you play your games? Difficulty is an option and it's up to you to use it or not. IMO, it's as dumb as writing articles like «It's OK to Adjust Mouse Sensitivity and Change Resolution».
Yeah, have to agree, some people just shouldn't be allowed to be on the internet. If you threat someone over anything (either physical violence, mental one or financial), you should be disavoved and not be listen to anymore. You must be civilized, if you can't do that, then i think George Carlin said it best «First offense, bam! Into the colon you go!»
I mean, i didn't like the original face of Peter Parker in this game, he looked too generic to me. Bu...
@TheScotsman
Dude, please, stop spreading lies! It's not a beta, ffs!
It's still an alpha... With first «release» in 2013-08-30, more than seven years ago.

Just kidding, but imagine a flood of articles who would try to downplay that.
«For nearly 35 years, the Zelda formula has been mostly the same.»
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, Cadence of Hyrule, Hyrule Warriors and - G-d forbid - Link's Crossbow Training, Link: The Faces of Evil, Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon and Zelda's Adventure. Not to mention that they try to use different art styles, control schemes and change things around between games. And you can count The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes as trying to be different.

Nothing like FFXV? To me, it looks almost the same as FFXV, just less colorful blue particles. Similar fast paced flashy attacks, similar teleportation (dashing), even same looking animations. I mean, characters look a little bit similar (although, with less pointy hair styles).
Doesn't mean it's a bad game, i do like that medival setting more than FFXV's industrial (just a personal preference though). But i completely disagree it «Seems Nothing Like FFXV...
«Now, while this next version may look and feel much the same as you've already been used to, the conversion itself will provide improved reliability and set the stage for additional functionality down the line»
What a bunch of jibberish. They said something similar years ago, that they use modular system and it will help them with stuff release. And people in youtube comment section will agree with that.

Their monopoly is bad. But mine, mine is good. Right, fellow kids?
And this is coming from a guy, who's free to play game is monetized to hell - emotes, skins, gliders, harvesting tools, you name it with battle pass on top.
Not to mention whole timed exclusivity for games in their store and still taking commission on bare bones store.
And their whole breach of contract that they signed with Apple (doesn't matter if it's bad or not, th...
Not surprising, it's 23rd game in a series (or 12th, if you count only major releases). And Assassin's Creed franchise is only 13 years old. They don't need to release something interesting or fresh, «Assassin's Creed» name sells everything, even shitty games and movies.
My guess - kids should like it and they're the main consumers of mobile garbage. It's also simplistic, to make it fast and it's less polygons, so should be processed faster and consume less resources (CPU, memory and disc space)
And it's also probably because few successful games had similar art style, so they want to either confuse their audience or to «repeat» their success (or both). You know, like a lot of mobile games have that angry mouth ope...
