If it's fun and people can get longevity out of it, then why should it matter? I know my buddies and I had a lot of fun with it all the way up to Wave 50. In all honesty, I think more developers will opt for gametypes like this in their future games instead of "traditional" co-op per se.
"..It's just a complete and definitive version of what Team Ninja has been working on the past several years."
Sounds good to me. Oh, and there's co-op. =)
"Tecmo is still around? Itagaki no longer work there which means Tecmo needs to first prove that they can manage without him."
They already have, you asshat. NGS scored better than NG2, and Sigma had nothing to do with Itagaki. Consider yourself owned. Oh, and I'd love to see you refute fact, spin away.

Keep spinning, buddy. Whatever helps you sleep at night, won't change the fact that GoW3 is going to be an epic game, look visually fantastic and contend for Game of the Year next year.
Completely agree, Splinter Cell's a good game, but it's no Metal Gear. Those are some strong words from the SC devs, good luck surpassing the epicness that is MGS4.
Lol, I'm clairvoyant, what can I say?
It will be the best game of next year, aka GotY 2010. Go ahead and spin all you like, I don't care.
Even Eurogamer can't spin this one. GT5 > Forza 3.
This will probably be their one true shot at redemption, after the abomination that was HAZE. It's a real shame that TimeSplitters 4 looks like it's went the way of vaporware, but hopefully if the former Free Radical can get Crysis 2 right on consoles, 'Splitters 4 could potentially see the light of day down the road while utilizing the strengths of the CryEngine.
lolno. I see BioShock 2 as being nothing short of amazing, personally. Good article with some valid points, though.
"Expansion or not. I'm still all over this one. Love the idea. :)"
With a username like yours, who woulda guessed? ;)
PS3 already has two critically acclaimed AAA games this year, Killzone 2 and MLB '09: The Show, not to mention inFamous which is AAA-quality. Looks like your precious 360 has some catchin' up to do, buddy.
That's a good point, but I've never really been a PC gamer and have always preferred consoles to be honest. Although my laptop is just over a year old and I spent over a grand on it, it can't even run L4D properly, lol.
In all honesty, I feel the same way about Alan Wake. If it's as good as everyone around here is hyping it to be, I might actually cave and get a 360 for it.
I normally don't comment in the Open Zone, but you truly are a sad individual. How is LBP a "flop" when it's sold over 2 million copies and has a higher meta average (95) than any 360 exclusive? Not to mention, the 360 has been out a year longer, which means it's had a better chance to produce an exclusive AAA title every bit as good as LBP, but has failed to do so. Think about that one before you blindly go around spewing your fanboy drivel.
Haha, just wait for the Edge review and you'll have your revenge. The only PS3 exclusive I've seen them score an 8 or above (aside from LBP which scored wonderfully) is MGS4, and the reviewer sounded very reluctant in doing so to be honest. Friggin' elitist, garbo magazine.
Dream on. It very well may be a good game, but it's no MGS4 killer.
Yeah, SEGA obviously favors Xbox 360 over PS3. That's why two of their best games this gen, Valkyria Chronicles and Yakuza 3 are both exclusive to 360, oh wait...
Agreed. They're definitely getting better, but they still have a long way to go. Like it or not, they could learn a thing or two from Microsoft in this department. There's always room for improvement.
