Honestly, I don't like the way it looks currently, some parts are better yes, but the ghosting induced and the oversharpening in some areas is very off putting, alongside the artefacts that come with frame gen, I don't think it's an overall improvements, it's a give and take that for me isn't worth it.
To see what I mean, look at characters face when you're talking to them, turn it on and off again and the faces just seem waaaay overshapened.
I concur, they talk utter wibble.
What glow up? Looks the same to me hahaha
Put about 5 hours in last night, got it's hooks in me again with the new playthrough, so far it's a massive improvement however I did wish they added some of the interactivity that modders added, going for drinks eating food etc, I know it's a small thing but it matters.
Other than that, brilliant update and looking forward to Phantom Liberty.
@Dumahim
Stop being a troll.
Meh, I felt it too scripted, frustrating and not at all scary. It's an Okay game, but when you're comparing it against its own siblings it makes its shortfalls look even worse. I could never finish it as I lost interest. RE2 and RE4 remakes are both some of the best games I've ever played. If it wasn't for Baldurs gate 3, I'd say RE:4 remake would be my game of the year actually.
Cloud hybrid power? I Remember when someone said that the cloud would make the Xbox One 10x more powerful or some shit. Fuck all came of that.
Keep stum, keep the games coming and you'll win people over, it's simple.
Yeah no thanks, now that's a proper monopoly, you have windows and steam with I'm guessing integrated game pass. Fuck the ABK deal that would be a proper takeover of the industry.
No no no.
Can't wait to play this, Well done CDPR!
What excuses? What I'm saying is just reality, listen pal the sooner we all treat these companies with the same energy will be a better day for gamers.
I don't defend Xbox at all, I don't own an Xbox, I do however make use of their services and at the moment they're providing me more as a gamer than Sony. I haven't touched my PS5 since FF16 and that's the only game on the Console I've played this year. It's not giving me a great deal of worth...
Agreed, I don't even own an Xbox but to say they shouldn't be in business is stupid, Sony have already showed this gen and the PS3 gen what overconfidence does to a corporation.
There's an air of arrogance about them that I simply do not like, that would be worse by tenfold if Xbox wasn't in the picture, you can take that to the bank.
@Vits
Wish more people thought like you. The same people complaining about Xbox buying up the industry are the same people who would happily see Xbox gone and Playstation the only option. It's laughable.
Less competition = Worse deal for gamers.
My point still stands though, Sony is doing exactly the same though? If it wasn't for a recently bought studio in Insomniac their exlcusive line up would be woeful. I own a PS5, I don't own an Xbox as a primarily PC gamer these days. But I have no problem in treating these companies the same, they're all as bad as each other. Sony these days are less consumer friendly than Xbox, but that's my opinion i know a lot on this site might disagree with.
Looks alright, but if you can afford it there 0 point in owning an Xbox, PC all the way.
Glad for the controller improvements though I'll be picking one of those up, hopefully the battery life is as good as their Elite models, that thing is genuinely ridiculous.
Making a MS owned studio game exclusive to their Console and PC?
Yeah, you're right no one else ever does that...
At least Xbox give PC parity instead of these 2 year later second class ports.
Just due to disagrees not that I'm bothered, but are you guys happy with shoehorning Ray tracing onto these underpowered consoles at 720p30fps like a lot of Devs are doing? If you're happy with that then sound, guess I'm the crazy one.
If you think Oblivion and Skyrim look similar I'd get yourself to opticians pal.
Jesus Christ. That's pretty horrific.
I just hope this GaaS shit fails, Sony gets another much needed humbling and they go back to what they were best at.
Mmmm, interesting. Wonder what kind of gameplay it'll be focusing on the shire?
