Well that's a lie, PS exclusives tend to hold their Value a lot longer than other games rightly or wrongly. This game shouldn't have been £70 to begin with, it's a remaster.. (don't even try saying it's a remake, it clearly is not. Demon souls is a remake, not this cash grab).
Sony just know that PC players aren't as gullible as PS fans are, meaning no offence but going off this generation they can charge you what they want and you'll lap it...
Great game, awful price tag. Sony fans need to understand that complaining about the price doesn't mean it's a bad product. A £70 price tag for a next gen upgrade was always laughable.
Take a look at the RTX 4080 that just come out, I know it's weird to compare graphics cards and games but the uproar to the price of that card has managed to get it discounted already not even after a month of being out. Great product, awful price and the customers let Nvidia...
I'm not against the Activision deal in all honestly as they are clearly commited to bringing CoD to all platforms. This should be compared to Minecraft rather than Bethesda, got way more in common and everyone universally praised Xbox for their approach there.
I will however say this statement is stupid, of course Sony want to make you smaller, just like you want Playstation customers.. that's how business usually works. Most people don't have multiple consoles ...

Considering they said this was PS5 only, then said it was PS4, then tried to charge for a supposed free upgrade. And now on top of all that they now don't give the DLC to the people who bought the game on PS4.

Like a game of tennis this, like a lot of people have said this is clearly Xbox saying well if 2 out of the other 3 platforms are fine with it, why aren't Sony, the current market leader.

From what I've seen this might be a good suggestion, when gameplay and map design directly conflict with each other you don't get difficulty, you get frustration. I'm all for hard games, my fave from soft game is Sekiro (widely accepted as the most difficult one). A game that demands you to get better provides accomplishment, a game that demands you to put up with technical and gameplay issues that cause the difficulty provides a boring headache.
Exactly, I've given up defending them but some of the games that are supposedly in the works I am looking forward to, if they finally start hitting the mark then things can only get better for consumers with he competition. However that waiting game is exhausting and a lot of fans are sick and tired of it.

Can I just say how mad it is that Xbox has sold pretty much 20 million without really releasing, well anything. Estimates put Xbox one at 50 mill or there abouts. That's more than 1/3 of the sales in 2 years when Xbox one has been available for 9, this to me shows 2 thing.
1.Xbox one was genuinely shit. (Even though it sold well enough, it was terrible compared to 360)

That's the Xbox one X Vs Series X screenshot that's why, not even a Playstation version in the video from what I saw.
It's CDPR pre approved footage, my guess is it's because it's the console version running at a higher Res which is getting more common as the gen goes on.
Not saying it's the better version because of that, but for a Dev that miniscule difference probably matters.

Surprised at how good the Xbox one X version still looks today tbh, I know it got a 4K patch but it's still working with the existing Xbox one assets. I remember playing this initially on release and it being a nightmare is some spots for frame drops on Xbox one and PS4, and in some ways you can see why they struggle getting it running at first.

This doesn't make sense.. it wasn't a GOY contender nor does it have any DLC (maybe the one coming out in 2023). Just doesn't make any sense with a a lot of the GOTY editions that come out that were no where near the GOTY.
If it's a discounted price compared to buying the DLC separate then great, but that's doubtful since the game could have been bought for like £5 at times.
Real Shame what's happened to a lot of Racing franchises including NFS. Only really 2 relevant players in Forza and GT, remember the good ol' with Midnight, burn out, motorstorm and NFS in it's prime.
Well I wasn't expecting this.. shame. Guess I'll save my money for something else.
If a game improves it deserves a second chance? Of course, was on this like 2 days ago with friends and it's much better than its initial release. Now would I recommend buying it? No probably not, but it's a great multiplayer shooter now for game pass/EA play :)
My trigger is about £25, that's all this remaster is worth.
