I kinda get what they're trying to say in the games they've mentioned, there was a lot of great 3rd party support for game pass. But to say they dominated is so far off the mark.
Did I like some of the games mentioned? Yes absolutely. Do any of them come close to GOTY? Not in any way shape or form.
Forbidden west and GOW are both GOTY contenders released by Sony and featured heavily at the game awards, that's the difference, and I'm sure Phil ...
Normally I'm the one to try play devil's advocate for Xbox as I like both PS and them, but Jesus this is a stretch. Not one first party game released and they dominated?
Stop it with the click bait guys.
Yeah man it gets incredible, the last seasons are amazing you need to watch it!
I just hope that doesn't distract too much from the gameplay. The first last of us got the balance between slow story moments and great set pieces spot on. Last of us 2 a little less so but still a very enjoyable game that had amazing moments.
If they start putting in more cut scenes etc then I think it'll lose its charm. Sony's 1st party (ND especially are already very cut scene heavy but they just about get the balance right. Anymore and it'll too much in ...
Good, Star wars has so much potential to be a much grittier universe and things like Mando and Andor have shown that. Needs to cater more to the audience that's grown up with it.
Look at what happened to clone wars, the first couple of seasons were okay, but from like season 3 onwards when it started covering more adult focused subjects, it really came into its own and is the best Star wars media ever made in my opinion.
Look at games like Chivalry/Vermantide etc, crunchy combat where enemies feel like they're getting hit rather than the blade is going through them would be a big plus.
I'd like the spells to remove body parts and blow people to smitherins if possible, make you feel like a bad ass mage surrounded by burning corpses rather than firing a nerf gun from your hand.
They need a solid AAA exclusive every 2-3 months to stop the rot. Anything less than that would be disappointing as they have a lot of catching up to do on the 1st party side of things.
2022 will be known as the year that a lot of Xbox fans finally lost patience, if they don't claw that back in 2023 they're outta goodwill with me and a hell of a lot of other people. Sick of waiting.
Take Ryan from IGN, he's a known Xbox fanboy and even he put...
Some of the best superhero media ever, never mind games. Both 2 of the best franchises in gaming.
Just a shame only one of them is currently still going. Would love a new batman Arkham game on current gen considering how good Knight still looks to this day. Would be amazing.
@obidan
Shut up you nob.
This game is that good that I wanted to play the entire series again, but I'm holding off on that until I whittle my backlog down a bit as 2023 is going to be crazy for new releases!
Can't give SSM enough praise though, game of the gen so far for me.
Let's not pretend that all controllers suffer issues. I've had to get my dual sense replaced because the triangle button stopped working.
Within 2 months of having it might I add so lucky was still in warranty. Am I against everything Sony makes now? No because I'm not some weird fan boy who holds grudges.
Things go wrong, get over it.
I agree it has more features but 30 hours less battery life features? PlayStation have always had awful battery life. Say what you want about them including them in the controller, but I'd rather have a good battery that I can replace than a bad one that's bound to get worse over the years.
@shin.
Doesn't happen within a week though does it, had mine 12 months and I've had to have to replaced once due to their shitty bumpers. Not had any issue with drift although I know that can occur.
If you're happy to get ripped off bro then that's fine mate, Sony fanboys getting used to that.
6-8 hours battery for a pro controller? Say what you want about the Elite series 2's durability, but that shit last a full week before you need to charge it. I'm sure the Edge is a nice controller, but the battery life on the dual sense sucks and I was wanting at least an improvement on that.
I doubt it's faster SSD would come into a 2015 game. The assets just simply aren't high enough quality. If everything else was the same and yet the LOD was still better fair enough, but it's got better performance and much higher Res, doesn't make sense for it to not be anything but a bug.
@aloy
Which is why I said it's probably a bug or yes poor optimisation, but it would still run at a higher Res/frame rate on Xbox due to the better GPU and CPU. At the start of the gen this wasn't to case but more more games now run better on Xbox. It's not as important as PS's first party line up granted, but it's facts.
Might as well be a flat earther while you're at it if you're arguing against it.
Just an FYI to the disagrees, you can't argue with statistical facts, if you do you're a moron.
@darth
Yeah since the quality mode have RT normally but it's not really worth it compared to less frames and Less Res. Always knew these consoles would have barebones RT implementation from day one.
@aloy @Mandf
I agree with Sony having a much better 1st party output, but you can't keep lying to yourselves when the better CPU and GPU is showing through in a lot of 3rd party games now that tend to perform better on Xbox compared to the start of the gen.
It's just Xbox's ass doesn't know what to do with it. Like having a big dong but thinking it goes in the belly button.
@rep
What are you on about pal, it's one of the best looking games I've ever seen 😂😂
