No I disagree, the only rough part was the cut scenes which naturally is a massive improvement in the remake. Gameplay wise it's not a big if a jump.
Even though it wasn't needed in all honesty, it is a big improvement. I still stand behind the fact this at most should of been a £20 upgrade fee for existing remaster owners. But the in game cut scenes and reworked facial animations etc add real emotion to already brilliant scenes.
For new players of The last of us it's an absolute no brainer, it's still to this day one of the best games ever made.

I mean, I don't know about this one, pretty much the same Ram, same CPU and storage as the series X with slight lower speeds. The GPU is obviously a third of the X but that should be able to be offset by a lower resolution and graphical options. But if Devs have got to the point 2 years in and they may have to omit features such as Balder's gate and split screen.

What does removing the ability to pause do for the game? Nothing, just adds extra frustration and doesn't give you the ability to do other things, for example, in middle of a boss fight, Amazon knock at the door and you've been fighting it and nearly killed it after struggling for ages. Regardless of the Acti deal, this is actually a really good move from them. I don't think Xbox are viable in the console space. But they pretty much dominate the PC space. Think at some point they will leave the hardware behind and become a publisher only.
