If I was 16, I'd definitely play through it again. But as it is I really don't have the time to play a game again. There are already enough things to do. FFXIII comes out in March and I'm still on Disc 3 of Lost Odyssey. There's New Super Mario Bros Wii I'm playing now. Then I still have to finish Crackdown before I start with GTA: tBoGT... And I really want to play Assassin's Creed, since I'm getting the ACII PS3-box around Xmas...
To be honest: This is the only non-handheld Zelda I've never played. But I'm planning on buying this for the Virtual Console. But first I'll finishh Ocarina Of Time again.
My favorite is Link To The Past: without ANY doubt. And then it's Ocarina.
No... This is shocker.
And here I was thinking the PS4 was going to revert back to pre-PS3 graphics!!! But now that I now the PS4 is actually going to be better than what we've already had, I'm really excited!!!!!!
I've got a feeling that they're going to mess up one of the best videogame sagas ever...
BOO ffin HOO
Anyone who has read almost all reviews is NOT surprised by this.
Bunch of fanboy-crybabies.
You do understand some people play with REAL friends and not people they looked up on the internet? If your real friends have an Xbox you have the most fun using Live. And not everyone has the intention, the time and the cash to own/play two different consoles. So not "everyone who matters" can easily follow you.
(PS: Somecountries have made renting games illegal. For example: my country Belgium. So renting to save money is not an argument for everyone. And even then: ...
I have the same thing.
Like 80% of my friends play their games on Live. Myself I'm not too big of an online gamer, but I do enjoy the occasional game of FIFA or something against a friend. So why would I buy FIFA for PS3 if most of my friends have it on 360.
It's too bad since it's free on PS3, but the reality is indeed that my PS3 is only for the (great) exclusives. Multiformat games usually end up in my 360.
It's quite logical to see that this won't mean a rise in sale for PS3. Why that is? Because those who are banned are banned because of modding their Xbox. So basically they want to be able to play for free. So I don't think a banning will result in them buying a console with absolutely no chance of modding at the time.
Good for you! Need a biscuit?
I'm definitely intrigued by this game. Hopefully it comes out in Europe some day :)
But if I read all this stuff correctly it seems this really isn't a JRPG. And whatever good things this game has, I hope they don't change the JRPG concept too much. Since I love my turn based battles :)
Why do people even bother.
This is common method for business people. The one who stated "the truth is in the middle" was closest to the truth. Because it's always like this. But then Sony fanboys come along and act like a bunch of toddlers with their "boohoohoo. M$ is always lying" and then we have the MS fanboys coming in and proclaiming all bad stuff about sony.
Bunch of kids you all are. Just accept that in the industry EVERYONE LIES! Sony did it, Nintendo ...
What a bunch of winy fanboys here. Can't crap like this be placed in the Open Zone?
Superb and exactly what it should be!
Lol... What a fanboy remark. I thought the Gamer Zone left no room for teenage gibberish like this?
The world is not only black and white... There are also shades of grey :-)
The Wii is not the best thing out there, but claiming it's for non-gamers exclusively is just plain dumb. Proof enough if you read thtrough lots of boards.
I don't understand the hate for this blog. The writer has a real strong point there.
And for those who claim he doesn't know Nintendo and he just is an anti-wii-fanboy... He takes this issue up in the article itself by pointing to a list of games he completed in his lifetime: 75% of that list contains all Nintendo games. So the haters probably didn't read the article.
I consider myself being in the same position as this guy: lifelong Nintendo fanboy, but just utterly...
If you're 18 and can't afford more than one console... Then maybe.
But I just bought the Wii at release, bought me a 360 a few months later and this Xmas I'll be adding a PS3 to my collection.
The Wii IS my least favorite console of the three, but there are a couple of things on that one that are true magic: Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort and Mario Kart Wii gave and give me and my friends TONS of hours of fun. Single player games like Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, Super...
21 is NOT old :-) Try 30 ;)
Look at it this way: we older gamers (I'm 30 now) may not experience the PS7 or something... But we were first in line when the NES reached its peak, when the SNES came out, when the world got to know the third dimension and when this new console, the PlayStation, dropped in stores...
1. Lost Odyssey
2. Mass Effect
3. Oblivion
4. Fable II
