The Wii is indeed my least played system (I own a Wii, 360 and PS3), but it will never collect dust. It's an awesome "secondary console". There aren't enough great new games on it to keep me satisfied if it were my only one. But now? I have tons of fun...

What a dumb article... SP and MP are covered by both consoles. It's as simple as that.
The only MP I do are the Wii Sports stuff, Mario Kart and some Scene It/BUzz stuff. So most of the times it's "lone gaming" for me. And I own a Wii, 360 and PS3. And for the single player part there isn't any one of those 3 consoles I would like to miss. Wii for Mario, Zelda, ... 360 for Fable, Mass Effect, ... and the PS3 for Uncharted, Heavy Rain, ...

It's not that simple... i have all the systems and have some of the so called "better" RPG's of this generation: Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata and I've played Star Ocean, Last Remnant and Infinite UNdiscovery. And I can assure you: The reason they aren't selling is NOT that Xbox-owners don't buy that stuff (most of the RPG buffs around me have that system btw), but that that stuff just isn't as good as it used to be. Lost Odyssey is REALLY good and that one sold, Eternal...
Overhbyped has nothing to do with "not delivering". It has everything to do with "delivering according to what people are dreaming". And that's why Killzone 2, Halo ODST, Modern Warfare 2 MUST be on that list....

Damn man... Those were the days. 9 years old, buying the SMB/Duck Hunt package for the NES. A time were games were mostly even more expensive than now (80€ for SMB2 at release and lowerlevel games were 60€) A time were you still had something simple like the GameKey for import games, a time where import games were more essential than now (eg SMB 3 : October 23, 1988 in Japan, February 12, 1990 in USA and August 29, 1991 in Europe)

Some of you really underestimate the Japanse mentality. The main reason for the not succeeding IS the fact that Japanese people always prefer Japanse stuff. Sony and Nintendo are Japanse companies and they will always get chosen above Microsoft.
One example of this: Nintendo and Sony were producing the Play Station (CD addon for the SNES), but the last minute some American exec of Nintendo shut Sony out and chose Philips. The backlash towards Nintendo was ENORMOUS. And they star...
