Definitely more to do here than with Nvidia Control panel. I've never done it before today, but it was easy as could be. Just make some custom resolutions (ones your display will support obviously, other wise you get a failed test..) then apply them in the video/display options on whatever game. I noticed you get some smaller HUD's in some games. Other games scale well. Either way, the visual increase is worth it. I probably won't use it so much for online FPS, like BF4 (when I ra...
Thank you. I just got some higher resolutions saved on my control panel. Will be trying those with some games later. My highest is 3600x2025. That's what, 3x the pixels of 1080p? Good enough for me, I'll try to get a full 4k resolution later on if I can. Does anyone know if I have to drop to 30hz for 4k?
Never messed with downsampling before today.. What the hell was I thinking? It's fantastic. I'm not downsampling from 4k, just 1440p. But that still looks fantastic. I would think about going further but I'm only on a single 780ti. I noticed a pretty significant performance change when downsampling even from 1440p, but turning down MSAA from 4x to 2x on BF4 brought me back up a good bit. There is a significant difference, even in something like Rust. The grass looked more vibrant,...
Agreed, it looks great, but there just isn't much to do in Infamous.
I wish there was more news on The Stomping Land and The Forest both coming on the 30th. Next week is going to be sweet. Days don't have enough hours for this.
Who knew!? The pirated version even has it's own exclusive content!
You will be able to run the game pretty well if you get the retail version. Pirated version comes with exclusive content though. Free bitcoin mining for some dude upgrade, and an outfit that helps your pc crash.
No man your not upset, your delusional.
That would be sweet. I'd like to try the game out. I've gotten pretty used to playing games in Alpha thanks to Steam. It's nice to be able to give feedback. All games should do this in my opinion. No dev team has enough quality control staff to match millions of eyeballs of gamers doing any and everything possible on your game.
@NYC Not too much to go on. There are photos from the one article on here showing 75fps with an i5 3770k @4.4ghz and a 780ti. If the dips are similar for that setup, though IDK if they are.. V-sync could be turned on for a solid 60fps.
Yes I've seen humans. Not a single one of them that I know looks like they just had every drop of blood drained from their body. Look into the mirror. If your that white (if your white) come back and let me know. After that, head to the hospital, there is something very wrong.
@disKinected Best graphics you have ever seen? Haven't played many games in the past few years have you?
No it doesn't trick your eyes into thinking your watching a CG film. LOL I watched the same feed. The graphics were good, but not mind blowing. How does having the skin of a dead person fit into the setting? Even if I go into a dark, damp ally way in an old city, my skin is still going to be the same color. It's not going to look like I just crawled out of a morgue.
If Watch Dogs had as little going on with the title as a whole as Infamous, I'm sure it could have hit 1080p as well. But that's not the case. Plus, Infamous is a joke. Beat the story line and your stuck with a photography game because that's all that is left to do. The game literally turns into Infamous: Snap after your done with the 2 timelines. Not a single side mission in sight.
IDK how they look more realistic. In the old build the woman had an actual flesh color to her skin. Now her skin looks like she came back from the dead. Is she a vampire? I thought they were the enemy. If she isn't a vampire, she is very sick. Or Irish.
The Order looked good, but wasn't really mind blowing. Didn't really look to be pushing graphics to the next level or anything. So as talented as everyone says the Uncharted devs are, I'd hope it looks better. From what I've gathered in the comments about their devs, they should be producing a game that beats any and every game ever made, visually, and story wise. We shall see.
What I really noticed that look fantastic was the individual rain drops hitting the ground, each having their own splash. You could only really see it in the reflection of the street lights because every where else was dark. But that looks pretty good. Even from youtube. Funny how everyone instantly pulled out their cellphones for pictures and video after the explosion. They hit that right on the head. lol
Do you mean the White Hat Hacker Suit and the hacking boost with 60mins of gameplay that also comes with the Steam Digital Deluxe version?
How does that work? Is it a monthly fee or a one time purchase? We rented both x and y from Gamefly and just traded everything from my game and bought his when I was ready to send it back. I figure we will then trade from his copy of Y to the Ruby and Sapphire remakes later this year, and so on. Maybe be no need for the bank until Nintendo puts out a new DS, if that happens. If it doesn't support 3DS carts anyway.
Nice, my son will be excited to get something different. Pretty sure he is very close to having the Pokedex full on X. I though have all 151 was a feat for myself on Blue, but man there are so many more now. Though it's much easier now with GTS. Back then it was all people you knew and a link cable. Still had all 151, took me and my friends weeks to fill each others Pokedexs up.
I hope for my midnight launch to go as follows : Open Steam, click on Watch Dogs, click on Download, sleep. Hopefully if all is right in the world I will wake up with at least the game most of the way done downloading. Hope everyone enjoys their game when they get it. Regardless of what platform your on, it's all about the fun.
