Why is it that no one rags on Sony or Microsoft for releasing sequels? Sony are releasing Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, infamous 2 later this year. Motorstorm, killzone 3 and socom 4 are available already. Microsoft releasing halo after halo and gears 3 coming later this year too. They all do it. You only ever see a proper mario adventure game every 2-3 years yet the way people talk here, you would think it's every 6 months one comes out!

It really sucks for me lol. The only games it doesn't seem to do it on is Resident Evil 5 and de blob. Which makes me wonder if it is a software issue as both the devs for them games also worked on the wii.
The only DLC that has been worth it to me was for GTA4 and Red Dead Redemption undead nightmare. They were real DLC as the were 7 hours each. They were priced fairly too!

I don't quite understand what point you are making here? The wii has outsold both the Xbox 360 and the PS3. Also PS3 move is really a glorified wii remote thats more accurate.
It's dead in my household. The drifting issues are too much for me and it made killzone 3 unplayable with the sharpshooter too. Before anyone disagrees about the drift issues, i suggest you check out the official playstation forums where there are loads of people pissed off about the issue.
Stop paying for PS Plus and you'll see why you rented them. The moment you stop paying, Sony take them back which is renting by definition. Sorry!

Perhaps people would buy it because (if the rumours are true) it will be more powerful than the 360/PS3. Also this would show Nintendo is committed to 3rd party devs. On top of that there are the exclusives like Mario & Donkey kong that people do actually enjoy.
Although it is rated mature, more kids and casuals play GTA than "hardcore" gamers. Which in reality makes a mockery of these stupid "casual" & "hardcore" labels people use here. You aren't super cool because you play videogames more than others. You aren't cool because you only play games rated teen and mature. End of!
The 3DS has killed the NGP in sales. The NGP hasn't sold 1 single unit yet. Tell me...whats it like seen as you've already visited the future and already seen the sales of NGP!

HELL NO! That would be a wasted collection in my opinion. It would be boring as hell to play them games now and there is no chance that they will choose Socom over the likes of Metal Gear, GTA, Ratchet & Clank, Or FF.
Twin Snakes was made by Silicon Knights by request of Konami. Konami owns the Metal Gear IP so why wouldn't it be available to be ported to PS3? Alls they would have to do is remove the Mario statues and port it across. Just because it wasn't ported to Gamecube by kojima doesn't give instant rights to silicon knights. This is Konami's IP and they can release it where ever they like.
No game on any console lives up to their specs. Also Mario galaxy couldn't be done on gamecube otherwise they would have done it. Mario Galaxy uses minimal motion controls to maximise the potential of the wii and it shows.

I would. I Love Mario, Donkey Kong and Star Fox. They are up there with Uncharted & Gears in terms of fun for me. Only the mario bros and adventure games though. None of that olympic shit etc.
Worked out pretty well considering how fantastic Mario Galaxy 1&2 look. It strikes me as odd that when the PS3 loses in multiplatform comparisons, it's exclusives (which are amazing) that count, but when it comes to Wii, people only look at the third party shit on it. Just saying.

Not butthurt at all. Hotz clearly had enough of fighting a Multibillion Dollar corp that could leave him in financial ruins for the rest of his life. It just wasn't worth it. Especially for a product that will be obsolete in another 5-10 years. I don't blame him for reaching a settlement with Sony.

The difference between Resi 2 and this though is that Resi 2 shipped with 2 characters on release. Dead rising 2 released at £40/$60 and they're now asking for another £20/$30 to experience it as Frank. That's why i feel ripped off. Add that to the fact that the Case West DLC is needed to bridge the story between Dead Rising 2 and the likely Dead Rising 3. Capcom used to be fantastic until this Gen, now look at them. They're the Japanese Activision!
Please be metal gear! Metal gear 1,2 & 3 on one blu ray would be Epic! Use the Twin Snakes gamecube game and port it to PS3. Make sure to remove Mario from it though lol!
