This game needs a huge launch week just to solidify and keep that momentum gained in the last few weeks going into the holidays. And 2 weeks after it's Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time which I'm even more excited for.
To this day I will never understand WHO IS BUYING ALL THESE WIIs and WII GAMES?! O_o Seriously?!
An list I actually agree with? WTF!? O_o
I really hope the weather isn't just cosmetic and actually affects the way each car handles individually on each track surface, making selecting the right tires so much more important to the outcome of the race. I want low visibility and AI drivers who react to this and make driving adjustments the same as you would to a rain slicked course. This only matters if it's not just cosmetic.
Who's surprised? PS3 owners are seen as elitist and affluent. Who wouldn't think that's cool and trendy?
Edit: I just realised this is a UK brands list. I'd like to see a North American list please.
I'm looking forward to this game as well. I think I'll get it on the XBox 360 since more of my friends who own that console have indicated they will be getting the game. Not a lot of people know the game is coming out though and for a new IP, I thought there would be a greater marketing push in the mainstream media.
But wait, everyone knows the photo mode has added AA and motion blur and additional filtering. This isn't new. People don't have complaints about the games graphics but about the differences to the game's in game models and the models in photo mode. The complaints are silly and a way to find some negativity towards the title because this is the way it's always been.
I know right. I gave him a bubble myself.
WOW! That is all.
I don't think the UK has a rabid an obsession with Halo as North Americans do. Halo 3: ODST seems to have been a resounding commmercial success. Congratulations to Microsoft and Bungie.
I wholly agree with you. I recommend that any Halo 3 owner trade in that game and get Halo 3: ODST. You get a better singleplayer experience, Firefight and the Halo 3 multiplayer experience with every map released for the game.
Street Fighter IV got old quick. Within months I was back to playing Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix.
Totally agree with you Mastiffchild. The problem is, what's added is never enough to warrant multiplatform owners, of which this generation has many, purchasing the game a second time and a year later, the PS3 usually has great new titles being released so why purchase a year old game for just as much. Why buy Bioshock when LittleBigPlanet, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift and Resistance 2 are being released in weeks time? Why purchase Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 when Uncharted 2 and Ratchet and Clank are b...
Infamous was average. Thank God the fanboy over inflation died soon after the game was released and fanboys realised the game was completely average at best.
The impressions have been great and the story in GameInformer really sold me on this game.
Didn't really enjoy the demo. The car selection is limited to 5 with 1 track.
Edit @ all below
It a very limited experience of getting a feel for the game without the driving assists. You have a limited number of cars and after 1 run, you pretty much know every curve of the very short track. I know it's a demo but for a game that offers 450 cars and 100 tracks a bit more would have been welcomed.
I agree. With a better campaign, Firefight, Halo 3's multiplayer and Halo Reach beta, I would recommend trading in Halo 3 for it Halo 3: ODST as well.
Are there people on the fence about Halo. It's a very divisive franchise. You're either for or against it seems.
Didn't even know of this rumor until now. Sh*t, that seems like Epic additions. Hopefully, it keeps me interested longer that Ken Fighter 4* did (*Notation to Dreamcast for the Ken Fighter 4 usage).
