I agree with everything you said. Those people are the minority. Look how well World at War has sold and so many swore they would never buy the game. The enthusiastic loud mouths on the internet are a very, very small minority who's opinions and fanboyism doesn't count for squat!

Any price drop for any console maker will have a temporary effect. Price drops have not proven to be sustainable. However, what's interesting is that new software aren't resulting in hardware movement reinforcing that this current generation will be driven by price and not software.

Not really. There are rabid PS3 fanboys on this site. Any criticism agains a PS3 game or the console will result in this sought of thing. I said Uncharted 2 has jaggies, which is clearly does since there is no AA, and went from 6 to 2 bubbles in about 2 hours. I laughed my ass off because it's funny how irrational and unreasonable they are.
