I think you misinterpret my comment. I was only aware previously of 1 review and that's PSM3 21/20 review which really was very fanboyish to be honest. Again, not that Uncharted 2 isn't deserving of its praise but Uncharted 2 and MW2 are two very different games, in very different genres. I don't see how you can compare the two. Frankly, I think Borderlands can be this years Fallout 3 and may be the best game this year. Some will enjoy Left 4 Dead 2 or Assassins Creed 2 may redeem the franchi...

How much is this new adapter going to be anyway? I'm sure Microsoft will find some way of justifying the ridiculous price they're going to charge for it.

@ JsonHenry

On piles and piles of money.

Hasn't there been like only 1 fanboy site review of Uncharted 2? Seriously, this is ridiculous. I don't know why fanboys fuss so much over reviews. If reviews were indicative of success Okamiden wouldn't be on the DS, Clover studios wouldn't be belly up and I wouldn't still be playing Okami hoping to God for a real sequel.

Edit @ BaschPS3: I think all those games deserved those scores. I'm not saying Uncharted is a great game that deserve a 5/5 but like someone else said, Game...

Wait, hold up. I don't log in as often anymore but when was it announced this game wont be coming to the PS3?

No you're missing the point. The point is, this game is an expansion built on a dated engine. It has to be reviewed in context. To compare it to a title with a triple A budget or have the same expectations of the technology is stupid. Questions to ask as a reviewer are; is the story engaging, does it provide atmosphere and mood, is the gameplay engaging and entertaining, does the game offer longevity and replayability, does the game offer value and warrant a purchase. I'll bet most sensible p...

Apparently the reviewer doesn't review games, he reviews a game's engine and graphics. This is the first negative comments I've read. Most accounts have been glowing. It is after all an expansion but you can't expect these puedo-journalist to be objective now can you.

Edit @ GWAVE

Look, this game is pure fan service. It's something to appease the fan of the series while Bungie works on the next real Halo game. The only people who believe this is a full Halo title...

Seems there IS an update and it isn't true.

That article hit every bullet point about why the XBox 360 has been successful. Yes, friend are the kill app. If it weren't for the connectivity XBL gives me to my friends and family, I probably wouldn't own an XBox 360. Avatars are a guilty pleasure. The first day Avatar Marketplace launched I bought a Bioshock t-shirt for 80 points. The warranty is a great piece of mind and for what if offers, I don't mind being without my XBox 360 for a few weeks, if and when it has a hardware failure; I'm...

Lens of Truth and Digital Foundry aren't the same. Digital Foundry is Rich Leadbetter's site over at Eurogamer.net. He usually has comparisons and face offs of multiplatform games which have been the most technical and unbiased I've seen. I've come to really only rely on his comparisons and not screens or video comparisons of compressed video. Check out his comparison gallery at Eurogamer.

I'll wait for a Digital Foundry comparison. You can trust the source of those screen shots.

Wow! Just wow! This trailer probably cost as much as the game.

Prototype wasn't as polished as Infamous but both were pretty repetitive as most open world games are. Infamous had a much tighter narrative and better story telling. After the novelty of Alex's powers wore off, you really had no incentive to play Prototype while Infamous' story and great presentation sought of pulls you through the mundane and repetitive parts. Still love Alex as a character more than Cole though. Hope they make a better sequel and update that dated engine.

Not really, it gives you a reason to play the Challenge mode because to me, it really seems like the Challenge mode was just thrown in to add content. It's kind of repetitive and boring.

This game is layered to the gills with fan service. I'm on my second play through and committed to completing the game 100%. It may be the Game of the Year at this point in the year.

I was thinking the same thing. Apple is all marketing and hype. Market share is still only 13%. Windows based PCs have a market share of 86%.

Who the hell plays a game on easy?! O_o You either start at Normal or Hard. Game looks great by the way. Definitely looking forward to it.

Well, it's gonna run into a clusterf**k of other titles in what has always been a slow period. As a niche title, I think the holiday 09 release window would have been a lot better.

Dude, I kind of understand what you're going through. I live in NY with friends and family in Trinidad and Tobago, London and Florida and XBox Live has been like free long distance. Half of my friends have suffered the RROD, the other half have only had the console within the past year.
