I know. There were reports that there were more DLC expansions on the way. A Rockstar representative was even quoted by some analyst as saying as much.
Uncharted shipped monday and I got mine on Wednesday. Mine shipped from Pittsburg and I'm in New York. Having to wait 7 days before you can report it missing is what pisses me off the most. Sent back Halo 3: ODST so I can get Borderlands on Monday. :D
I've had too many Gamefly and Netflix evelopes go missing and I've always accused postal workers, now I'm positive. I'm sure there are a lot more postal workers doing this sh*t.
Didn't some analyst say there would be more DLC coming? I guess Pachter was right, maybe GTAV is around the corner.
Agree with everyone of those except Metal Gear Solid 4. So many more games this gen have had much better art. LittleBigPlanet should have been on that list.
I'll take the opportunity now to brag about GTAIV's 50 plus perfect scores. I'd also like to take the opportunity to mention that LittleBigPlanet has more perfect scores than Halo 3, Uncharted 2 and Gears of War.
Edit @ Darkeyes
Dude, you can say what you want but fanboys are hypocrites. How can you say Uncharted's and LittleBigPlanet's perfect scores are deserved and Halo 3s and GTAIV's isn't? Shut to hell up you idiotic fanboy.
Gamefly has actually had 1/26/2010 for weeks now. I usually get my release dates from Gamefly.
Let's recap; Darksiders, Dark Void, Army of Two: The 40th Day, Mass Effect 2 and Bayonetta in January and Lost Planet 2, Bioshock 2 and Dante's Inferno in the first weeks of February. That's a very crowded start to 2010.
More perfect scores to overinflate the expectations of games and rile fanboys on both sides.
How is this significant? GTAIV has how many perfect scores? Uncharted 2 is far from being a perfect game. A perfect score is only indicative of how much a reviewer has bought into the excitement of a game and then a few month later he's reflective and realizes that, maybe I wasn't objective in reviewing this game. And this goes for all the highly lauded games this gen, not just Uncharted 2 or Halo 3 or GTAIV or Gears of War. I know when I played those games I was awed but a few months later, ...
Who made the claim that it would match the presentation of Uncharted 2 besides fanboys on the internet and overzealous puedo gaming journalists?! O_o
I have the P21s as well as the X31s which I just recently bought. The X31 may be the best headset I have ever owned and for $50 less that Tritons and $140 less the Astro's they're the best way to go if you're looking for a great headset. This XLCs just look cheap. They may be replaced the X1s.
For once he did not sound like a total douch. And what's all this about expansion packs? One of the best games this year has been The Lost and Damned and I expect the same quality and content from The Ballad of Gay Tony. Forza Motorstorm 3 and Left 4 Dead 2 will do well both critically and commercially and Halo: ODST is without question, this year's biggest success with both commercial success and great critical response.
What do you mean "now it's gone". There was never a co-op campaign for Modern Warfare 2 announced or even alluded to. From the beginning they said there would be no co-op campaign as it would run the experience they were trying to craft. So what's gone?!
I've long placed no faith in metacritic scores. To be honest, I'm unconcerned with 90% of the reviews that make up a game's metascore. I don't need the opinions of 70 plus persons to make a determination of whether as game is worth my time or not. I don't know half the sites or blogs that have reviewed the title, nor am I familiar with the reviewers' tastes and how similar they are to mine. I look at reviews from IGN, GameInformer, Gamespot, Edge, G4TV, Eurogamer and few other review publicat...
It's always funny to me when PS3 fanboys are just so elated when the PS3 has "caught up" to the XBox 360. SMH!
Yeah, Jack Black has really thrown himself into promoting the game but I agree with WengYong, the game has really smart writing and a great voice cast but the mashup of game types really doesn't gel very well. It would have been better if it was a straight hack and slash without the strategy elements and wonky driving mechanics.
A number of release windows have been alluded to since '07. Even with the announcement there isn't a firm release date. Just a window.
Just hope there isn't another delay. Seriously, I'm still kind of sceptical about that March release window.
How are the Resistance Series and Ratchet and Clank Future titles not triple A titles?! O_o Because some arbitrary number of aggregate reviews says so?
