Mmmmmmm . . . . bacon. So good.
Yeah it is. I thought it would have felt tact on and a bit gimmicky but it's really fun. It's chaos playing with my friends.
You're acting like there wont be the same complaints from XBox 360 fans when Uncharted is released. To be honest, the front page has been inundated with Gears of War 3 articles but it's the biggest release this month so it's to be expected. You really can't blame anyone for being overwhelmed and tired of the media overload though.
I love Forza, bought all the DLC for Forza 3 but I hate the idea of a Season pass. You're asking players to commit to DLC before even shipping the game. I don't like that this has become such common place.
Let's admit that DICE has pandered clearly to the PS3 demographic. I don't know if that's because there seems to be a greater anti-COD sentiment on the console but I really do think it can backfire. BFBC2 has built a large following on the XBox 360 despite COD's huge community and more and more they're beginning to feel slighted. Until recently, they hadn't even seen footage of the XBox 360 version. They aren't really being encouraged to get excited about the game....
Somehow I think this can backfire. XBox 360 has built a larger BFBC community and while the COD community is bigger, DICE has missed opportunities to reach out to the XBL community. For BF3 to really be successful and be a true competitor to MW3, they need to build a large, sustainable community on XBL and they're not doing that with simple slights like these. The forums are already ranting about how petty this seems. If COD 1 month exclusivity on XBox 360 seems juvenile and cheap, this j...
I don't turn off my cable box to play games but it would be useful having all my entertainment options in 1 box. I don't see the problem with turning on my XBox when I want to watch television or having my XBox on over long periods. I turn off my television when I'm not using it and turn it on when I am. It isn't difficult to turn on my XBox at that time.
Yeah, the cost of ownership is starting to look like that of a console. Not good. The hardcore wont be enough to ensure the Vita's success and even they will be cost conscious when looking at the long term ownership of the device.
You know what they mean so why be so defensive? The fact is, Japan hasn't exactly embraced Western games especially those as viscerally violent and aimed at a hardcore audience as Gears of War is. There's no need to demerit Japan's gaming culture.
I still play COD4 on the XBox 360. The community is still pretty large, about 10K online at peak. The community continues to support the older titles so why not have a small team that continues to serve the community? Each COD multiplayer offers something very different. I like the run and gun freedom of COD4, the War game mode from World at War, the overwhelming killstreaks in MW2 and the balance of Black Ops so I continue to play them all. Hopefully MW3 gets all these things right in 1 game...

What planet are you on?! There more people online play World at War on XBox Live (about 10K) than they are playing Battlefield Bad Company (about 6K) and World at War is the least played game in the franchise. There were 700K playing Black Ops last night. It's clear people on the internet aren't actually playing games. I play Battlefield, I play Call of Duty, I play Halo and Battlefield by far has the small combined community on XBox Live.
If you GT fanboys want to continue to be pedantic then GT isn't a sim either! Do you really want to get into the minutest detail of what a sim is or should be?!
God, I don't know why I'm responding to you but okay, here goes; First, admittedly perks are a huge part of the Call of Duty formula. Because of perks, Call of Duty is the only online shooter that truly allows players to play the way they want to. I've used a light machine gun with lightweight and marathon for a more mobile heavy gunner class or ghost and marathon with an SMG for a more stealthy rushing class. I can go on for a bit but that's the RPG element Todd talks about. ...
What exactly is fresh about it apart for the destructibility? It's the same FPS set pieces we've seen a million times. It's the same mission structure; man that turret, get on that heavy machine gun, defuse that bomb, shoot that guy in the tower! It's just as generic and played as Call of Duty is!

Way to troll fanboy, I guess you didn't read the conclusion.
"There's little doubt that the Xbox 360 is the cleaner, crisper experience and for the most part it commands a small but significant frame-rate advantage and fewer little glitches; especially outside of combat scenarios, the game just seems to run that much more smoothly."
"On balance, 360 has the edge in terms of visuals and general performance.&qu...
"On balance, 360 has the edge in terms of visuals and general performance, but PS3 more than holds its own, bettering the Microsoft platform in some areas."
Like I said in previous articles, each version seems to take advantage of each hardware's strengths and you find advantages to both with minimal differences in each version.
We get it, the XBox 360 version has the edge. It doesn't need to be highlighted in the comment section of every Crysis 2 article.
I don't think Halo: ODST was overrated. It had a great campaign and introduced Firefight mode to the series. If you weren't a fan of Halo it wouldn't have made you a convert. I don't think Black Ops was overrate either, the single player was standard FPS fare and I play the game on XBL so I've never experienced connectivity issues having 9 days of gameplay. I think Modern Warfare 2 was the low point of the Call of Duty series having poor weapon and perk balance but Black O...

You mean Alcatraz right? Who is Apocalypse? Like I said, I'm early in the game still. And if he's in the suit belonging to Prophet which is supposed to be tied to the wearer symbiotically, why would anyone think it's anyone besides Prophet? Have you played this game, really?
Edit:
At least I know who the character actually is. How am I a troll when you don't even know the characters name? Because I don't like th...
Yeah, the end was very open-ended. They good thing is, they can take the franchise in many directions.
