Ah that's nothing. There were almost 200 people at a small Gamestop on 7th Avenue in Brooklyn, NY last night. There were even more at the Court Street and Atlantic Center locations. In Manhattan crowds were lining up since morning. It was insane in NYC. They were giving away headsets, t-shirts, temporary tattoos, stickers. It was retarded! Old, young, women, men, it didn't matter; there is no doubt this is the biggest game of the year.

Really? Why exactly? Just because Call of Duty on the PS3 doesn't sell as well as it does on the XBox 360, still doesn't change the fact that it outsells everything else on the PS3.

These are just flamebait articles. This isn't news or unexpected.

It is. The anti-Call of Duty rhetoric can stop now. Do you feel cool to be part of the minority that hates on Call of Duty?

The game's been fantastic thus far even if it is EXACTLY like Modern Warfare 2. Enjoying Spec-Ops, though I wished they had made it 4-player like Zombies. Already, the biggest problem with multiplayer is the support strike package; ballastic vests, advanced UAVs and juggernaut suits are rampant. Seriously, not resetting point streaks upon death with the support strike package is a mistake. Too many people are happy to go 18 and 27 just to get the juggernaut suit.

Okay, so let's get this straight, when LoT gave the comparo test of the first game, Arkham Asylum, PS3 fanboys ate it up and ripped Digital Foundry and Eurogamer for being XBox 360 fanboys because their comparison said other wise. Now, they give it to the XBox 360 and their comparos are not to be trusted? Is that what you're saying? Mind you, I'll still be waiting for Digital Foundry's comparison since LoT usually just make shit up as they go along but I just want to make sure...

Again, let's all go back a re-review games that got huge day 1 patches. Like Brink as a clear example. Developers shouldn't be rewarded for releasing an unfinished product. Any developer could make major changes between the time a product goes gold and release day, which sometimes is as much as 3 months. This has become too common place with unfinished games being shipped to meet competitive release dates. Now, you're going to reward EA and DICE for ...

A patch shouldn't affect a review. If that's the case, let's all go back and review games after major patches. I'm sure Bethesda would love that for Brink and Rage. All games launch with their fair share of minor issues. Minor issues! When you're asking a reviewer to withhold a review for a patch, clearly you launched a game that wasn't finished!

Why change a formula that works? That the community, the people who play the game and not bitch and moan on websites, continue to support and demand more of? The formula works, plain and simple. Give the community more maps, more guns, more perks, more killstreaks, more combinations that make the core gameplay continually engaging. That's what they want; A place to express individuality in playing the way you want to, with people who share that same passion. That's why it works. Call ...

To say Call of Duty is crap is pure BS. Call of Duty is the only online multiplayer experience that truly gives each player the tools to play the way he or she wants to. There is no other online multiplayer experience that can lay claim to being as accessible. Each iteration brings new challenges of balance but it also brings new gamers to a community that's growing. Keep screaming graphics this or graphics that like that makes a game better or worse. Again, tha...

Because in the current industry climate, a multiplatform development strategy is the best business. You think Rage couldn't have been much better on PC if the PC was Id's singular focus as a platform? You think it couldn't have been much better on PS3 or X360 if those were their sole focus of a platform?

I think you're mistaken there mate. Gears of War is the most successful new franchise this gen. It's better reviewed and has sold more than 15 million units across all 3 titles and has generated over 1 billion in revenue. Combine critical acclaim, sales and revenue and you'd be hard press to find another new IP this gen that competes. Uncharted is probably right there in terms of critical acclaim and sales of Uncharted Drakes Deception and PS Vita version should inch them close to...

I almost let many of these negative reviews keep me from picking up this game but Gametrailers has one of the best reviews of this game. It's spot on.

I know right. How is it backwards compatibility if I still can't play my PS2 collection on my PS3 but instead will be asked to pay for a digital download of a game I already own? Who wrote this garbage? Thank God, I've never gotten rid of a console I own so I still own a PS2 which works just fine.

My problem with the beta hasn't been the bugs, glitches or downed servers. It's been that this game, at least on consoles, doesn't feel like a sequel to Battlefield 2, it feels like a sequel to Battlefield Bad Company 2 and that may be as a result of the map chosen for the beta. The gameplay feels stagnant, corridor based, with numerous choke points rather than a wide open battlefield.

My biggest problem has been the lack of options in regards to a good wheel on the XBox 360. The Fanatec wheels are just too expensive. $250 for the wheel alone. The cheapest pedals are $50 and garbage making the $150 club sport pedals a must and the shifter set is another $50 plus shipping. That's $500 for a Fanatec setup. If the XBox 360 support Logictec's G27, you would get the same for $250. Fanatec is just way too expensive and there's nothing else.

Thank you very much! They used the beta as a marketing tool to sell a mediocre game, gave those who purchased a mediocre game and held on to it for a year access to the beta only a day before the public did, and then released a beta loaded with bugs and glitches. Nice work DICE.

Spawns system is still horrible. The few seconds of invincibility actually makes it worst with enemy players spawning behind you only seconds after you've spawned in the same place. It's ridiculous.
