I had posted a similar presumption on the PS forums. Good article though. I don't think Lord Anubis knows what's going on here.

It's really not that complex. Playstation.com not getting avatars - they are being stripped. He is speculating that the PSN will be getting expanded or custom avatar capability, which would now be reflected on Playstation.com.

In addition, I have a feeling *rumor* that trophy integration is coming to the portable ID as well.

terribly incomplete list. keep up with a site like BFads.net to get all of the deals. i'm sure more will be announced, esp. the week of thanksgiving.

notice his PR people mention a "new PSN podcast"? I wonder if this will be a part of the Blog (Jeff Rubenstein mentioned we'd see some site updates later in the week on the blog) or if this will be available on the PSN...

this is one of the few things I asked for, for my birthday this month. I haven't BOUGHT any Blu-ray movies in about 3 months. So I think others will be doing the same.

SingStar Volume 3 is releasing this week in EU... Weird to have such a disconnect with US/EU versions.

That is the plan. Expect it unless Sony Q&A pushes it back. But it should be up today for US as well.

It has to do with availability of RAM. I think 8MB of RAM is required to implement Remote Play as a developer tool. So when games are ported from PS2 like this one, this might be more feasable. Or when games are created by developers who know how to conserve memory.

I created the list, which is now maintained by Ftwrthtx over at the PlayStation.com forums: http://boardsus.playstation...

You should check it out - many don't know some of the more obscure games that support remote play.

sweet thanks! i'm getting a page load error. what's the whois lookup say about the site? is it official?

Why does it have to be one of those extremes? Simply because it made a good article title?

The fact that people need an article to tell them which it's doing, means it's probably doing neither - it's probably doing somewhere in the middle. Just give it some time and stop expecting customer reactions and changes in the market to be so extreme.

That's pretty offensive. I'd appreciate if you didn't comment on stories I submit in the future.

I can't access the site at work (just spreading the good news on gaming sites). I'm so jealous.

I'm curious if those are developers running a different LBP client or if they are people who have just linked pre-existing YouTube videos. I'd imagine LBP will upload directly to YouTube like some other games, so maybe you can set up a link to your account without in-game uploads yet.

Blog vs. blog battles are lame, and I certainly know what it's like to be on the receiving end of accusations about the credibility of a site, but it's easy to recover - just be open and honest and report original news first.

I'm kinda glad to see gamedaily being called out though, because I remember that article about games that suck. They were being controversial to get attention.

"Video Upload – Create your own video in LBP and show it off on LittleBigWorkshop. Get the most amounts of views and get placed in the "Most Popular" category."

Good call - I think it will be coming soon in the form of a patch. Who knows - Maybe that's what today's SCEE PSN maintenance will implement?

6318d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

i doubt home, but maybe they are adding some server-side integration into LittleBigWorkshop ( http://www.n4g.com/gaming/N... )

The site promises to include access to all kinds of content made from within LBP, but I don't think it currently works as explained. It'd make sense if SCEE was the first territory to implement the upgrades.

everything in the article is right - except that it never mentions what you said - you can't buy anything.

that's what I was reporting. i wrote the article on PSLS.
"PSN Registration – Want to contribute by creating your own blueprint, workshop or inspiration?"

But my question is - are all of the features listed above LIVE? that is, is the site fully-functional yet? Or are only some of the sections available?

Props to LittleBigMadness for the story. A lot of good stuff directly from developers on the forums that many people never see. Thanks for sharing this one.

Even though I can't see the site, I went and found an old blog post from MM explaining what's going to be on the site - and updated the N4G article and the PSLS article. I'm not sure if all those things are currently live or not, someone will have to let me know.

It doesn't work for me (old browser installed), but I wish I could see what all is on the rest of the site. Supposed to be pretty cool.
