I don't know why I've hesitated so much. Not my genre of games normally. but I think after all the critical acclamation it has received, i should just try it. I'm worried it will suck away all of my time.
Shouldn't sony just make this easier if they want to make features like remote play mainstream? I mean I am a computer engineer and I will put my ps3 on a dmz (despite potential future security worries), but you really shouldn't have to do this. work out the port numbers and work closer with the companies like linksys, netgear, etc. so at least those companies have router-specific support pages in place.

It took them over a month to come up with that lame headline for a review? Seriously though, why are reviews of it just coming in now? I guess they have had more time to spend with the game, but I feel like I've heard the same things they say in other reviews.
Really i made sure to include sources to all reputable sites. I keep close eyes on new releases each week and all rumors from N4G. Just trying to spread the word out there to curious PS3 gamers.
A lot might overlook this article, but it is interesting that the game includes in-game friends list with in-game messaging. I believe that is a PS3 first for any title. Some games include in-game friends list functionality, but this is the first with messaging. These developer-implemented features will hopefully soon be in most PS3 game releases and we can stop asking for "IN-GAME XMB!!!!"
Thank you for saying this. I was beginning to think I was the only one who knew there is a difference. Also, I'm neither. Just a casual reader. But I do get sick of self-important bloggers calling themselves "press" and journalists. It's a different medium with different rules, and frankly - lower standards. I guess that's why stuff like this happens.
is this an industry first? having the consumers pick which games they want bundled in? i know some retailers allow you to get a discount on a console and select a few games, but never heard of Sony, Nintendo, or MS doing this.
the more you think about it though, isn't it just like lowering the price of the console? i guess you guarantee 2 game sales. i think i like this deal but i'm still not sure.
i thought it was funny they did the green for Microsoft and black for ps3. props on some creative marketing for the game. regardless of whether everyone is happy, they just got us to talk about the game this much before it's even released.

it is keeping a placeholder for US PSN content. it makes it look like there is none, when really they just don't know what will be released yet.
since motorstorm has international servers and both EU and JPN got 2 new tracks, I can imagine US will get the same. But we don't really know of any other content for sure yet.
This was tough to find.. i normally check ps3 news and other system-specific news. Most other blu-ray/HD-DVD format war stuff is also tagged w/ PS3 & XBOX360. I dunno which was is right, but we definitely should start doing one or the other.
Sony is denying this game is being developed. Granted, they just may want to wait to announce it, but still...

Hey guys, as the tipster for this article, just wanted to say my only purpose was to provide some new actual hard evidence for Home. All I see most of the time is rumors and speculation. So this isn't as interesting as a lot of those rumors, but it is hard evidence that these kinds of things exist and will be discussed in February @ GDC.
Nice... I didn't fool around with the demo enough to really know what to do in "Free Burn" mode. I did like how it takes your picture with the Playstation Eye when you get knocked out.

Indeed our offices being closed last week no remote loading was added. Here on the other hand two of the remote loadings which were on standby which was added to PLAYSTATION®Store today. Hope they put up some cool new content for those of us in the United Stats. I was hoping for PixelJunk monsters (b/c it uses remote play and so many of us got PSP for Christmas). But, that game is a worldwide simultaneous release everywhere else (only out in Japan now) so I guess I'll wait til next week.
