Ever notice how you and Drunk Pandas are never in the same place at the same time? haha it's ok. I guess I'm in the minority here for not having multiple accounts.
PLEASE READ.
Loot-Ninja, spreading false info. Zipper has privately stated to all MAG participants that this is to load test the patching/DLC servers. The full game won't require these HUGE downloads.
You are giving Zipper undeserved negative press. Please check out the private forums before posting something like this publicly. Also, you should be careful posting anything related to the beta, re-read the NDA.
*ass out PSLS hug*
Sev, it makes me wonder why they haven't done something similar for PSP. What's the difference? Even $50 off a PSP with the credit card if using it for the first purchase.
with the $219 USD refurb 40GB model... then you'd get a PS3 for $119!
glad to see PSLS is keeping it updated!
SingStar SingStore update and GamesCom vids.
I wanted it to be real so bad. Now it's real, super upset that I bought such an expensive one! haha oh well, i guess I've had fun since launch playing great games.
Oh, firmware 3.0 looks snazzy!
House talking about Home haha I get it.
THIS is what I was waiting for. Something to add replay value. Hopefully they'll discuss the in-game commerce system or new trophies along with this.
You can listen to custom playlists in a bunch of PS3 games.
XMB implementation: High Velocity Bowling, PixelJunk Eden (unlockable), etc.
In-game implementation: Super Stardust HD, Burnout: Paradise, etc.
If you play a lot of mainstream games you might not see it, but most 1st party games or devs that work closely with Sony (read: not EA) have had it for a long time.
There are lists and threads about it on the Official PS Forums.
Reading the full article right now to double-check that this is nothing new... in-game XMB custom soundtracks have been available in the SDK for almost a year now. And non-XMB implementations have existed for almost 2 years. The synching to game events is a unique implementation, but nothing new on the PS3 side.
dumb to fail it manually. yeah it's cakefoo's mockup from neogaf, but could be a graphic artist's holding place for the official pic?
but look how much more free content EU gets than NA (you can use this alphazone site to compare)
jealous of the database you guys have going. as always, great updates and love the links to the guides for home unlockables.
he added in the next comment that he was sorry to confuse, but he meant APB the PC game.
Mike Kebby said he's looking forward to playing it. Also mentioned a post or so down that it's a PC game. Maybe it will become a PS3 game eventually, but for now - Mike Kebby didn't announce anything.
He did mentioned Firmware 3.0 without denying it - if anything that's the news here.
But overall, if we blow the things he says out of proportion, he's less likely to give us interesting tidbits in the future.
how do we know this site is brand new?
i saw it includes PSPgo info, but wasn't sure if they just updated their old site or what? site looks great though!
Picked undecided. It would stink to be locked into one for the whole beta.
ok my bad - that was done in a cursory glance since it seemed similar. that's cool - i just realized you guys all probably work for the site. take it easy. i was only frustrated at people not understanding the load testing that is going on as part of the beta. but now there's a post in the private beta forum explaining it a little more by BenjaminBreeg (zipper). If you're in the beta, go check it out.
