I have heard from some folks who have played it in a multiplayer setting that it has arcadey Super Smash Bros-like multiplayer. I think it's going to be a surprise hit and I'll see you on there later.

Sweet. Last year they did the update at a different time as well.

At this time, there is not info on the PS Blog specifically about today's full PS Store update. Sorry - you are wrong.
Generally PSLS gets their preview/rumored content thread up a day or so before the real update, but they always beat the clock and release before Sony does.

I liked the guide, but I think they need to revise how the SHARE aspect of the game works. Completely re-do it, instead of offering up a tutorial for how to use it as it is right now - confusing.

"Within one half hour, you can have the game completed and seen all there is to see."
and
"With the game being free, you more than get your money’s worth, so in the end, 4 out of 5."

What a terrible reason for scoring the game so highly.

This was the game idea submitted as a part of Doritos' contest. Wow, regardless if the gamer points are free (which is cool I guess, I'd take some free/cheap trophies on PS3 - see LingerInShadows). But, this game looks TERRIBLE.

They are not.

The people singing from "SingStar 2" that you are seeing are generally people in other regions who have differnt songs available - even though they are in English. There are still a bunch not available in the US. But yeah, you'll be seeing SingStar Vol 1, Vol 2, Vol 3 videos as well as separate regional content.

I will actually be getting SEVERAL of these songs for once. Also pumped about the video recording for PS2 SingStar games. Now if only someone would tell me whether or not they show up and are shareable in MySingStar Online!

They were really asking for it when they made Idol Minds so close to Idle Minds. We've been sitting in idle for a while - but it seems like the game's hardcore fans still love it. Which is really about all they can ask for. I personally love the physics engine, I just was hoping they'd open the game up a little more and give us some more control.

Yeah, he's been cool about spreading the news of his daughter. Someday she can look back and see how proud he was of her. Pretty neat.

Check out his announcement: It's a Girl - http://playstationlifestyle...

It's a shame this article won't gain more attention on a site like N4G. The problem is, this article really is targeted for an audience that may not know they can find people who are in similar situations on gaming sites. Most gaming dads might figure that gaming blogs are written and visited primarily by the hardcore. Nice to see PSLS again reaching out to an untouched demographic.

Wait, LBP didn't cost as much to make as GTAIV?
haha you actually make a very good point that many (including myself) overlook. With more hyped content on the way, I bet Alex Evans and crew are doing PRETTY well for themselves right about now.

They have a 3 Game Contract: LittleBigPlanet (PS3), Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic (PSN), and ... ?
But I don't think we're talking about an entirely new game here (unless something related to PSP interoperability). I think we're probably looking at some kind of massive expansion to the game or to LittleBigWorkshop's functionality.

Updated the article to give a link to the Folks at LittleBigPlanetoid who have a story on the PSP version, supposedly confirmed interally to Sony employees.

I updated the article with this link to an OLD article - http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...

Quote from Alex Evans:
"It's still LittleBigPlanet, but people will be saying, 'I thought it was this - now you're telling me it's this as well?!' That excites me hugely."

Though it's old, it seems we're on the verge of more than just a big patch release or DLC.

and buy it new - show em you support creativity and innovation. Plus, I hate tossing my coin to gamestop. I just went to GameCrazy for the first time last week - I might go there every now and then.

Price of what? We don't know what the content is yet.

The price of the game is $59.99 MSRP. The secret project doesn't have a price, because we don't know if it's DLC, a new game, or a sweater made of bologna.

I feel like that might be jumping the gun a little bit. I'm pretty certain they've been rolling up a lot of minor fixes into one HUGE patch to put it through Sony's QA and have it hit worldwide simultaneously. It'd be ballsy to release info of a sequel before the initial game is fixed and operational. But you never know...
