interesting. i'm sure the info is out there, i just didn't know what all you can/can't do. like, can you play a blu-ray movie and download in the background? I don't think so since it's not hiding your online status, it's actually signing you off the PS network while you watch it.
But most glitchers are probably trophy whores. The risk of losing trophies makes a single PSN ID more valuable in my opinion.

honestly, this seems a bit harsh. i'm sure they do their research though. the key info from the tweet was that they have been lenient, and they are going to start cracking down.
I didn't think you can background download while playing PS3 format games... only while browsing the internet, PS store, folding@home, etc.

I am an information security professional IRL, and this is a really bad idea to submit your information. I like the guys and wish them the best, but they need to use some form of encryption here and they aren't allowed to ask that info unless they use the token-passing from PlayStation.com's Account Management screen (used on Killzone.com, mybuzzquiz.com, etc.)
This also breaks the PSN EULA.
I thought it was all a little overblown til my wife showed me. Wow. Pretty ridiculous. Sony/MS could save face, be proactive so this DOESN'T become a mainstream media issue.

I wasn't a fan of the game at all. Tons of hype leading up to it, finally got a PS3 demo, really was let down. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
New R&C announced, Guerilla mentions they'll start banning PSN IDs for glitchers on KZ2, LBP Cornish Yarg details coming out, all kinds of sh!t from GDC, etc.
I guess it's not interesting to some, but seems like at least a middle-of-the-road news day to me.
