I think the only thing you'll see is multiplayer stuff. Remakes of old favorites, new maps and vehicles introduced online (since they already had them in back in 2006 but took them out).
Co-op is probably gonna be the main feature of the third game, though I'd love to see it happen for this game, and I don't see them doing a story episode. The ending leaves the perfect opening for a new game if you want to throw people right back into the action.
Okay, what's the point of this article? He says quit rubbing the whole "in-game footage" thing in our faces, yet it seems like they go on to say that it's not in-game because there is no HUD?
Last time I checked, if there was a HUD that'd be gameplay footage, not a trailer. I don't remember the last time I saw a game trailer with the HUD on.
There are only a few things left to match PSN with XBL on features list, maybe not in execution. Cross game invites, cross game chat, etc. And cross game chat is coming in 2.7 and thats a fact.
ND is owned by Sony. Why can't anyone ever get that right?
framerate hitch has been there since the closed beta and we were assured then that it was already fixed for the final release. here we are 6 months later and it's still present, i highly doubt they get it fixed.
i haven't seen a single patch actually fix something. usually they add something to the complicated mess they already have and then complicate it some more.
Price drop needs to happen sooner rather than later.
MAG info has to come at GDC or it's not coming this year. Having a blowout at E3 just isnt reasonable, especially for a 256 player game. They're gonna need to do a REAL beta test. One that lasts a month or so to stress the servers and get general feedback and then some time to work on the issues that came up during it. If they do a beta right before launch with no time to properly address the issues, it's gonna be a disaster.

EA needs money and ignoring an install base the size of the PS3 is not good business unless Microsoft plans to pay them for potential sales on the PS3. The PS3 install base is at 21M now, the game isn't going to come out until next year, it's easy to suggest it will be near or over the 30M mark. I highly doubt EA is gonna turn down that big of an install base just to keep some fanboys happy, they're worried more about their bottom line.
Face it, third party exclusives are diein...
Hopefully the exclusive hands-on IGN has going up on Monday is for MAG, it was brought up on the PS podcast they have so my guess would be its a Sony exclusive. I don't see how the game can come out this year and not have any new media by now.
Hopefully there is a MAG blowout sooner or later if it's going to be a 2009 release. Maybe GDC? Cause E3 would seem a bit late if you ask me.
Doesn't matter how good or bad the ad is, it's more about how many times are the masses going to see the ad in a given day, what networks is the ad going to be on and how much is the marketing budget for this game? If nobody sees the ad it doesnt matter how good or bad it is.
Do these people ever sign on SOCOM? Almost everyone on that game has a mic and uses it. And if you don't, you might find yourself getting the boot from the room.
Okay, I know they're horrible quality scans and I really don't like screenshots of games anyways cause they all look horrible IMO. But I can't say I'm impressed and this is now twice, VGA trailer and now these. They look nice but not on the level of greatness everyone expected from this game. I know more people who downloaded it off a EU account than off the US store with the gamestop code. So the number is probably greater than the install base so they aren't gonna release the numbers, that'd probably upset Gamestop. I'm just glad I was able to get mine as soon as it went up.

How about framerate drops at the beginning of some rounds that is probably in the single digits?
