this screenshot is doing it's job and i think in the end sony and guerilla are gonna have the last laugh.. it's just all smoke and mirrors to build up hype..
but if you actually played socom, and it sounds like most of you haven't, it's not about graphics it was about the gameplay. period.
do almost all videos from game sites show noobs playing the game?
otherwise the game looks amazing, definately picking it up on the first day.
Good list for the most part, some games like Splinter Cell don't belong on it but Conviction looks great, but I do see the point about how a yearly release could kill it off, games like that should come every other year IMO.
I dont hear them owning up to the hardware failure that has become a plague and then when asked about the extra heat sinks they just pass it off with a generic statement about how production evolves.
I remember reading about this a couple months back, so this is old news to me. Still it's nice to see someone step up to the plate and admit when they are wrong.
this didn't even come from sony. i love when someone else mentions something about the PS3 it automatically turns into hype from sony. this came from full sail, they do it alot with people who have graduated from their school.
did i ever say that the game was gonna change the world? no. so stop trying to spin this in your favor, and again.. please show me a link where Sony or any other Sony rep mentioned this big announcement. Like I said the hype was made by the net, some guy sees this future announcement and then goes on to talk about it and everyone else picked it up, please stop with the "this is sony hyping the announcement" stuff cause like i said, i have yet to see anything from them about this maj...
how exactly was this hyped by sony? last time i checked someone with a podcast mentioned "sony", "big announcement", "a date" and "how xbox doesn't have it" in one sentence and we turned it into the monster it became.. didn't see a press release from sony talking about the announcement, so please show me a link if i'm wrong.
we get extra content for less money..
it would be over quicker if they actually stepped up production, you'd see how fast the demand drops.. so they are smart with keeping the production numbers where they are cause they're maintaining the demand, cause once the buzz is gone so is the Wii..
looking forward to it if it's true, FF7 was the only one I liked out of the entire series, the rest were garbage to me..
when did Guerilla ever bash Halo? last time i checked it was some tard in the gaming media that dubbed it "the halo killer" and everyone else picked it up and ran with it..
even if sales continued to be down, who cares? the point of multiplatform is to expand your market to make more money. I dont think they'd go exclusive and cut out 3.5 million systems from potential sales.. just retarded logic.
the whole buzz around the thing will die off. recently had a friend that said the Wii was the best next gen console out there.. well he finally was able to find one to buy early last week and was totally disappointed, now he's regretting he bought it.
wonder if these additional maps are the DLC ones coming to the X360 version?
many studios spent alot of time and money figuring out the X360 and PS3 and dont feel like wasting that on developing for something that is considered last gen. plus nintendo are a victim of their own actions when they treated 3rd party developers so badly back in the day.
anyone ever think that maybe all the games out now are geared towards the US and European market? Wait until they get games that appeal to gamers in Japan..
his suitemate said he never saw the kid play any sort of video game, i love how that's left out.
i could care less about KZ, just that's what i think this whole thing is... just like i could care less about other PS games people cream their pants over (Metal Gear and FF).
