Agree with Soad. Not to mention there is no actual proof for the price of Natal. There is also no proof (or even rumors) that Natal will be mandatory, either. Both of those points are purely speculative and don't really add much to your argument as neither could be true. Would be like saying, "Everyone knows next year Sony is going to add 3d TVs as a mandatory add on."
You just can't make things up to prove a point.
PS2 has 63 games rated 90 or better.
XBOX has 32.
PS3 has 25.
360 has 29.
So, no, the difference in quality (using solely "AAA" titles to represent that) between this gen is nowhere near last gen. No, I did not run a check to see which games were available on multiple consoles. Doing a list of exclusive titles might change this, but I doubt it would be groundbreaking.
Sony having near double the &...
@Solar
Viruses: Only on PC. No need to be rude.
I never had any freezing issues, but can understand the frustration of those who have. I would not be happy if my 60 gig bricked because of this.
Tecmo, PLEASE take out how cheap the Izuna Drop combo is. Killing basically all enemies by pressing square, triangle, square, square, square, triangle is gay. Enemies are too vulnerable in the air and most are too stupid to attack Ryu while he's in the air. Provides for a very cheap method to play the game.
This reminds me with what they did at first with Halo: ODST. I think they should release a separate version for those who bought WKC at a reduced price. That would be more fair. Say whatever they want, but removing the first game from the disc would reduce price and they could pass those savings on to the consumer. I'd be satisfied even if it was only like $10.
Touche. In your rebuttal to me, therein lies a great argument against yourself. You still don't need comments to raise an article's degrees.
Just curious, shouldn't you be referring to the algorithm? It's been several years since I took math (stopped at cal 2), but I don't see how your reference to exponentiation is relevant. If I'm wrong, please explain. Not trying to be a d!ck, just asking.
Really enjoyed the first one. Hope this one follows suit as it was one of the more underrated games.
@dardinkay
Comments don't mean anything. Views do. You could have 0 comments and 1200 degrees. Your point?
I agree. WKC was a good game. I just hope it doesn't take two years for the sequel to be localized like the original.
I agree. I nominate the following games to be picked up by any quality dev:
Toke Toke Revolution
Super Mario Shroomshine
Rachet & Clank: Acid Anytime
Rockband: Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
Pot Ocean 2: Something, Something Story
And my personal favorite:
Acid Fantasy 7
Being high--nature's way to curb violence.
Touche. But just add in optimization then. They're still too lazy to do it.
Agreed. Travel was so lame. I guess that's why WHM was my first 75, then BLM. RDM just because it was so 1337 in duels. I'd like a more detailed filter system as well. Nothing like trying to keep up with crap in Dynamis to hurt your eyes. If more of the story was soloable, that would be my #1 improvement. Leave all the alliance crap to get the gear. I think that's fair. Oh, and something to combat the obvious latency advantage the Japanese had would be great for those who...
Being in the military and stationed in Iraq right now I don't see any humor in your comments about supporting terrorism. If you think it's sooooo funny, then maybe you should pick up a gun and fight. Or watch your friends die around you.
@Colonel-Killzone
I didn't know that dropping a price point was against the rules. Last I checked, all console companies drop their price to try to gain ground, or stay ahead of the game. It's all fair.
I expect this to be fairly solid. I hope the battle system in this one is as intricate as FFXI was. Well, it was before they added the expansion that resulted in "anything burn" PTs. That was so lame.
WOOT!!!! I got a disagree. I feel like a fat kid in a cake factory. Or maybe Mario with a lot of shrooms...
Actually, I find Alpha's comments to be more along the side of truth than most. His basic argument, that if you define winning the console war by which company sold the most consoles, then the Wii wins is a fact. Why? It's proven true by the definition of the argument. To say, "_______ doesn't count because" is just being a fanboy.
The only reason Steam, PCs, etc., was brought up was because of the first things Sony and MS fanboys' bring up: POW...
I have to ask, who cares about details about a cancelled IP?
Also, N4G, your spell check sucks. "Cancelled" is not an incorrect spelling. It's perfectly acceptable to use one or two ls when spelling the word.
Go, go, Gadget-SPAM! Loser. Reported.
I'd wager that's more indicative of a more competitive price point for the competition rather than the Wii falling off. It will continue to sell as its kid fun factor and strong first party lineup with Mario, Zelda, etc., isn't going anywhere.
In general, sandbox games. Countless repetitive missions are added to stretch a ten hour game to a fifty hour game.
FFXIII. I actually enjoyed the story, but the side quests were terrible. They just didn't have the allure past FFs have had.
Ninja Gaiden 2/Sigma 2. Can still destroy the game an any difficulty with the Izuna Drop combo. Save a few boss fights, I fail to see all the hooplah about how hard the game is.
I think R&C: A...
The Bouncer 2!
Parasite Eve is the only worthwhile title listed. Shameful list, really.
