I am thinking Killzone 2 will take that spot once it has been released though.
I would had put Fallout 3 and Burnout Paradise on there somewhere. Warhawk didn't get a mention either. :(
"Edit spy: Instead of worrying about what ceo's in the USA make why don't you ask yourself why others don't try and make there own money sheesh."
What?
The PS2 was also hard to develop for, so many people said it would eventually crumble to the competition. Obviously that didn't happen. While the competition is stronger now than last generation, the PS3 seems to have more potential to awe the audience than its predecessors. The PS3 is my only console I have and will have this generation, and yet I couldn't be happier with my decision to buy one. Good job Sony!
However, I myself have also tried out the Wii on certain occasions, and I also have come to conclusion that it is not worth the cash. The thought of Nintendo games on a machine where real life actions decide what occurs is an idea that many I am sure have wanted to try. However, after moving Mario around using those exact controls I found myself wondering, "is this it?" I have tried numerous games on the Wii including Mario Galaxy, Mario Party, Red Steel, Wii Sports, etc. The only o...
I saw the title, and got excited. I then saw where the video came from, and decided to pass.
Just not on that system. But it will sell well overall, that much is certain. I will wait for all the say before I decide whether to pick it up or not. As of this moment Dead Space looks like a better investment.
But do you know the average CEO of an American company makes more than 100 times his average blue collar employee does, yet the average Japanese CEO only makes 10 times more? I am sure the numbers have widened in both cases since the time I learned of those astonishing facts. Something to really think about isn't it?
Didn't Gamestop announce a while back they had hit over 1 million pre-orders in their chains alone?
Cannot come soon enough.
*Looks at watch*
Yeah.
I hope more people are starting to realize this when looking at the price tag. I bought mine when it was still close to its debut price, and I feel it has been worth every penny (or yen I should say) since then. I have trust in Sony, have for a while now. They know what they are doing, despite it not appearing so. I always look forward to what they bring out.
I am a new member of these forums/boards. I have posted a couple times, but have not gotten myself too familiar with how this site works yet. One thing I have learned to operate is the "ignore" feature. You are one of two people I have found myself to ignore within the short time I have been a member here. I should also mention you were the first of those two in which it only took me a week or two to add you. Now I don't normally ignore people, but your constant attempts to invoke a...
I have seen a trend where a 360 game will do well in its first week then disappear off the list shortly afterward. I am thinking all who want it get it when it debuts, and then move on to the DS and PSP games with the rest of the crowd. It appears White Knight Chronicles went that route as well. Let us see if this actually helps Microsoft in the long run.
Yakuza 3 will knock it off, that much is certain. It will most likely sell just as well, if not better. The Japanese really l...
If the game ends up being a small amount like Burnout Paradise (3.3 gigs upon download), then I will of course download it straight off the PSN. For games that take up close to 25 gigs or more, I will just get the disc version. I doubt Sony will put anything on the PSN that is close to 10 or more gigs of space anyway. More small size titles like the ones mentioned above would be great. I wish I had downloaded Warhawk instead of getting the disc version to be honest.
"The game is huge -- 40 gigabytes -- something possible because of the PS3's Blu-ray Disc drive."
I had no idea it was that large. :o
This game is really looking to be something worth while. Can't wait.
I hope they offer one. I really want to try this game out.
I think it is because some people don't actually think it is. Some people still think Uncharted is the best looking game on the PS3, where others think Metal Gear Solid 4 took that spot. It's all a matter of opinion. Now as far as FPS's, I would imagine this takes the cake over all the competition, but I have not played all the games that could compete with it. I sure has hell know it looks better than the Call of Duty and Halo series, I mean just by the demo you can tell that.
If this was the next Halo, I wouldn't be purchasing it. I personally never got into the Halo series. Not sure why many out there did. To each his own I guess.
You are a wise man. I have only had my Playstation 3 for a little over a year. With all the fun I am having with it, and how much I paid for it, I hope the 10 year life span does hold. I look forward to seeing what Sony brings out during that time.
I am sure Flower is great in all it's artistic glory, but I would much rather have my brainless gun slinging gore fest to feast my eyes upon. That is, for now anyway.
