Either I am looking at the wrong product, or that 'sale' was over quickly. It is showing Street Fighter IV for $40.
While I agree with what you said, I think Ubisoft is doing it mainly for promotional purposes.
I think he was trying to say High Definition gaming, but I am not sure. Either way, it is past his bedtime.
I read off another site within the last few days that the Playstation 3 had launched when the 360 was at 10 million. Going off VGChartz's reputation, these numbers seem unreliable.
But aren't these two completely different type of shooting games? Why are they being compared?
I have never seen so many deletions at one time on this site. And it looks as though edgeofblade will join that long list. Moderators have a hard job here.
I am curious if the same power can be used towards gaming media of some sort, not just encoding. Would be nice to see it.
Is there a way to ignore articles from certain websites, much like the way you can ignore users?
"PS3 is for the mature gamers and it needs to stay that way."
That is one reason I do not want them to lower the price. Let Sony do things their way. If it ends up biting them in the arse, then they will learn. I am happy with my choice, extremely happy. The author of that plea needs to get a refund for the "education" he supposedly received.
I only have a PS3 and have absolutely no intention of getting anything else. Half of the games I own are exclusive to the PS3 and the other half are not. Right now I am playing Killzone 2 nightly with my friends and Fallout 3 when they are not online. I am pretty sure this is just me, but I chose the PS3 for all the advantages it has, not just the games. While everyone seems to have the mindset that Live and DLC are the way to go, the casual gamers do not give a rats behind about those featur...
It was a well written article that got straight to the point. Although I do not like to dwindle on sales of the console I own, it is nice to see Sony getting some love across the board. They more than deserve it.
Back to Killzone 2 and Fallout 3.
I don't know you nor do I visit your site, but if you are going to try and make yourself look important on this and other sites, you might want to do it with correct grammar and punctuation. Otherwise you will just come out looking like everyone else here.
From what I can see based on those comments you made, your name fits you perfectly. :p
It will be big of course, but not that popular. I am predicting more than 1 million in it's first week of course. People here are crazy over handhelds and Dragon Quest. While Final Fantasy can be compared in popularity, consoles cannot match handhelds in the same aspect.
"...but as a gamer in his late 20's I really appreciate the extra stuff my PS3 does. "
This is exactly what I represent. I have never understood how someone can afford more than one console these days, nor why someone would pay for another one in the first place. There have always been enough "good" games on every console to this date, enough that is to warrant focusing your hard earned money on that specific console. The minute I got my PS3, I stopped spendin...
I have been gaming since around that time myself, way before it existed. To me, there has not been one specific console that everyone "should have". Just like there is not one car that everyone should have. It depends on your preferences. I was extremely close to purchasing a Wii, but changed my mind at the last second to get a PS3 instead. This was not because of the games per-say, but because of what else it offered to justify the higher price. To me the PS3 was the better investm...
"Eat your own medicine from time to time, it may do you some good."
That's TAKE your own medicine from time to time. And I suggest you TAKE that same advice.
But to waste it on people like him is just that, a waste. Some people just don't want to accept they aren't part of the natural balance of this planet. They want what they want, simple as that. They will do anything to get it, even if it is changing how the rest of us live. Sad really.
I was considering getting it, but then I heard about the new DLC for Killzone 2. So I decided to save my cash for that and the pack that was released a while back. Not sure if others have done similar. Battlefield 1943 does look real tempting mind you, but despite it being very cheap, 3 maps and 3 classes still feels a bit bare.
I am probably going to get it for the variety, most especially the NASCAR portion. I am not even a fan of the series, nor have I ever watched a full race. But the fact there are at least three different types of races with so many cars to choose from makes this a highly probable purchase for me. That and the company seems to have the best reputation for what they do.
Does anyone else continuously get 500 errors when they try and access IGN? I have been for the last week or so unless I access certain parts of their site. Odd.
