Why would anyone buy a second machine when the first one died on them? Yet, I see people here who have paid for four of them. That just boggles the mind.
"Cause 360 games sell a lot more in JP considering its userbase compared to the PS3"
Since when?
Once-and-a-while I speak about this topic with the students I teach or the other teachers who buy systems for their children. Almost every time I bring up the PS3 as an option, their response is always "I want one, but it's too expensive." It's a shame really, but I am one of those who think the price is 100% worth it. I use it almost everyday. Whether it be for gaming, music, or watching a movie, it is a very useful entertainment system.
Be nice to him guys, he might be Japanese.
Let's hope this trend continues. And here's to hoping that the States will follow. I am curious as to why the Wii had the sudden drop in sales though and the PS3 had such a spike. Must be the Resident Evil 5 affect.
How can the game have endless reviews like this coming out day after day, have an average score of 9.2 based on all those reviews, and have only one or two of those reviews mention any controller problem, yet have 50 or so kids going around claiming it is a game breaker and raising such a fuss. I am very confused...
He is right, there was a review for it before and it was a 3/5. However, it was their magazine that gave it that score, not their website. No need to jump the gun with the insults because he actually remembered that. Remember to breathe before you type out your frustration.
Correct me if I am wrong geddy, but some of the more heavier guns have a split second lag in the firing mechanism just as they do in the game. While it has been a long while since I have fired a gun, that is what I recall happening when I did. Not all guns mind you, but some of the heavier assault classes I recall. As far as this "lag" that everyone speaks of, I cannot for the life of me see where that is coming from. Granted I have just played the demo, but even there I haven't a c...
I have yet to receive my copy as of yet, but I am a bit worried with how easy it sounds to get to max ranks. It seems as almost everyone who has picked it up already has been able to do so. Is it that easy?
"After each battle my heart is racing, my palms are sweaty and I have to pause it to have a smoke. "
Wow, I am really looking forward to matches like that. It's been a while since I had to break for a sig on any game.
I don't recall anyone complaining about COD4's lack of co-op.
" You could call it ****ishness or ineptitude on GameStop's part, or maybe you'd just blame the customers for somewhat stupidly selling the games back."
I actually think it's both sides fault to be honest. These dumb kids who do not know what they are doing should be instructed by some parent or elder on how to purchase and exchange an item. I mean, this kid sounds like a complete dunce. On the other hand, Gamestop should be put under investigation for this. This to me ...
Either play nice or don't play at all. There is no need to go into a geek frenzy everytime someone knocks your beloved console. That is for the Open Zone.
The network is fine the way it is. All I could really suggest is more classic titles for the store, but I am sure Sony will deliver. As far as online gaming goes, I couldn't be happier.
If you are going to delete a group of immature comments, do not delete the few mature comments because they are mixed in. That is poor moderation and will result in loss of customers. Thank you.
This game will be on my "to buy" list for sure. Looks simply amazing, although simply is not a word I should use. More like decked-out amazing.
You have a very good point about Nintendo, they are innovators. I actually had almost every one of their systems before the Wii was introduced, so I know where they came from. I do understand there are people who prefer their style of play versus others. I was actually going to get a Wii from the time it launched, but certain circumstances provoked me into getting the PS3 instead. Either way I probably would have been happy. One of the major factors in my decision was what I mentioned above, ...
It is a gaming system, per say. That has been Nintendo's selling point for their systems since the beginning. But the problem is when their number one selling software at the moment is Wii Fit, you have to ask yourself exactly where their gaming spirit is headed. To me it seems they are just trying to cash in on a new trick anyway they possibly can. Granted I am sure many of those games you mentioned are fun to play, but are they really that much different and innovative to separate them from...
If you read his post without putting your arrogance into full gear, and then look at the person he is referring to, you might notice you just embarrassed yourself. Funny when someone corrects someone else but fails to actually read what it is he is correcting.
Good try though.
