I can see it selling past 2009 mainly because recent PS3s do not offer the ability to play PS2 games. So, if all you desire is to play current generation games, purchase a PS3. If you prefer last gen, get a PS2. Purchasing both will make it the same price as the PS3 was when it was released. I think breaking them up like that was somewhat of a good idea. People can have their choice in what style of gaming they want: HD, SD, and portable.
How about just support your supposed flagship title on all systems equally. For those of who know COD4 well, its support on the PS3 was horrible to say the least. Unless they support it as equally as the other system it is on, I will not be purchasing it.

Why don't you tell me how many of those wonderful PC tools you actually use? I am willing to bet my college degree that the average consumer uses less than a half of what is actually offered on a PC. So why settle for more when you can have an OS that actually works with the hardware instead of fighting it?

One of the developers on the official Playstation forums has stated several times there will be no co-op coming to this game. Just yesterday he reiterated that point, again. You may want to pick up another game if that is the sole reason for not enjoying such a wonderful game.

It was for people on forums like these, not for those who are casual gamers. You need to remember that. You also need to remember that it is still in the top 10 overall and has only been out for a month. It could end up being a long impact seller overtime.

I have always wanted to play against all who own an online game. When I had Call of Duty 4 I wanted to play against the 360 owners as well. The more the merrier yah know? Hopefully they will implement that one day, but I doubt it.

Apparently so poeo. It is a sad age for games when those you listed are what make or break a game to the consumers. A month later and I am still having a blast with the game, almost daily! The campaign I am not through with, but it has been very enjoyable and difficult so far. The multi-player is what peaked my interest in this game and is what keeps me coming back. This game is 'killer' in my opinion.
From what I have noticed, a background download will only occur during a game not connected to the PSN. For example, when I am playing Fallout 3, a background download will occur. When I connect to Resistance 2 or Burnout Paradise, the download will then enter 'pending' status.

Not unless they start to offer Blu-ray streaming purchases, allow me to listen to my 10+ gigs of music and look at my 2+ gigs of pictures. I didn't just buy the PS3 for the games you know.
