Have you not seen what the consequences of their actions are? How great is the WiiU doing because they "aren't competing with MS and Sony"? Dead last in hardware sales and exclusive software sales.
Everyone discounted Nintendo. Why wouldn't they? Nintendo has been in decline since the release of the N64. The Wii bucked the downward trend, but as we can all see plainly with the WiiU, Nintendo doesn't make consoles that the masses want anymore.
Backwards compatibility is not a game changer at this point. Had MS had it ready with the launch of the Xbone, then it would have made a bigger difference. But people aren't going to run out and buy a new console so they can play games from LAST generation on it. At this point, it's people who already own the console that are cheering about it because they kept their old 360's and were holding off on buying a Xbone.

It's coming from Activision. If they didn't have a team on a remaster (not a remake, which would be way better by the way) what do you think you'd be getting in its place? More CoD or Destiny?
We need Prototype with inFamous graphics. An open world super power game where the powers are WAY cooler than the ones in inFamous. I'd be sold on that!

Did Apple pay for a few months of exclusivity? It only makes sense, Android has a much larger install base than the iPhone, so why wouldn't Bethesda put it out on the platform that it's going make the most money on unless they were paidnfor exclusivity?

If they bring forward all of the DLC then my Xbox One will see the first regular use since I bought it. I'd love to buy the PS4 version, but I have a lot invested into the Xbox version. I'd have to start over with the PS4 version.
Micro transactions never work well in a $60 AAA game. NEVER. There is no reason for it. Ther is no benefit to the end user. Just an attempt to exploit the stupid mobile phone model of draining the end users pockets with useless crap.
I hope "several hundred dollars" doesn't translate to more than $350.

My plan was to wait for a few months after release and buy it at a cheaper rate. I couldn't wait and bought it a week after it released.
But Nintendo "isn't competing with Sony and Microsoft". I fully expect another underpowered console released between development cycles. Expect little 3rd party support and tons of rehashed 1st party games.
