He can't say that's the priority because they never will. It would be an automatic failure on his part. They don't set public goals only to fail, they set achievable goals so the public can see them succeed. Even if it's a small goal, in the public eye they are succeeding and thus growing their public image and support.
Do you play for 30 hours straight? The DS4 easily lasts for 6 hours on a single charge.
