I really liked Bloodborne! But my heart lies with the Souls games. I love heavy armor and shields more than nimble dodging.

No, it's because there is not enough money in the WiiU platform.
The Xbox and the PS4 have nearly identical hardware, save a few advantages like faster RAM and GPU on the side of the PS4. How could the game possibly run better on the Xbox if they are running at the same resolution? The PS4 has nothing but advantages over the Xbox in nearly every category.
