I can't imagine who is interested in another generic fps game.
Microsoft is a 4 trillion dollar company. The 23.5 billion dollars that it's gaming departments has brought in equals about half of one percent of that. If anything, Microsoft can drop it's gaming divisions and not bat an eye. And they should. Because they can't seem to make it work.
Sony stocked up on GDDR6 about 6 months ago. So for now, they are shielded from the increase in value of RAM. For now.

What proprietary hardware does the Xbox have that the PS5 doesn't that would cause this to happen in ONLY this game?
Uh oh, this is going to look bad for MS...again. Remove windows and games run better? Duh!
Devs are unable to optimize the game properly. That's on them, not the hardware. Everyone else has no issues it seems. Obsidian has ALWAYS been the type of dev that puts out a game just to get it out NOW and then patches in the play-ability later.
It never cost a thousand dollars until Xbox slapped a logo on it.
I don't care about portability. I don't want to play my PC games at lower resolution and lower frame rates all the while watching the battery drain so fast i'd be lucky to get a hour of play time. In fact, the battery life kills any portability of this thing. If I can't even play for the entirety of my commute to work before draining the battery, why would this be an option? Two thumbs WAY down.
Oh, another sportswashed game I will never buy because I don't support the Saudi royalty.
Since when does Joe Higashi wear glasses?
Everyone having a good time supporting the Saudi royals with their Battlefield 6 purchase?
Congratulations to Nintendo. Their new hardware that is the equivalent of Sony's decade-old hardware is doing well. Great. I barely looked up from my PS5 that is outselling the Switch 2 to notice.
This isn't news to anyone who's ever bought a digital game since the Xbox One.
Just like Cliffy B, he turned into a disconnected, loudmouth asshole.
Looks like a fun $20 Steam "ultimate edition" or free PS+ game. I'll be waiting for that instead of paying $100+ for this game.
So, even with all the bullcrap price increases over the last few years, Sony is STILL on top. Of everything. Well, there goes any hope of them EVER reducing hardware prices again. Be it this gen, or any following. In fact, we should expect multiple INCREASES each generation now for whatever stupid reason they can make up to justify it. I suppose we should expect the $80-$100 games soon too then.
After my third time falling almost ALL THE WAY down the mountain i'd had enough. The comedy of falling and squirming around on the ground quickly wears off. The fun also quickly dries up. Buying this game, for me, was a poor decision.

Many grown-ass adults don't blame tariffs because they can't think for themselves and have to be told by their political overlords what to do/think/say so they can feel like they can "own the libs". Even though what they vote for messes themselves up too. Case in point: tariffs and the removal of the minimus exemption are absolutely 100% the reason for these price hikes.
And when no one buys less powerful, more expensive hardware, MS will then stop producing it altogether.
I don't want a remaster, I want a ground-up remake, like Demon's Souls. 60+FPS, higher res textures, and higher poly models. Why wouldn't anyone want those things for Bloodborne???
